Gross electrical output definition

Gross electrical output means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, electricity made available for use, including any such electricity used in the power production process (which process includes, but is not limited to, any on-site processing or treatment of fuel combusted at the unit and any on-site emission controls).
Gross electrical output means the total electrical output from an EGU before making any deductions for energy output used in any way related to the production of energy. For an EGU generating only electricity, the gross electrical output is the output from the turbine/generator set.
Gross electrical output means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, electricity made available for use, including any such electricity used in the power production process. This process may include, but is not limited to, the following:

Examples of Gross electrical output in a sentence

  • Oi = Gross electrical output of the EGU during QAMO hours, in GWh, in an individual month in the 12-month rolling period, as determined in accordance with Section 225.263 of this Subpart B.

  • Gng = Gross electrical output of the affected turbine- generator from natural gas, in MW-hr, including output in hours when ultra-low-sulfur diesel provides less than 50 percent of the heat input of the turbine.

  • MW1= Gross electrical output for unit 1, MWe. MW2= Gross electrical output for unit 2, MWe.PL1=Depending on firing oil or natural gas, the appropriate emission limit from Tables I or 2 in lbs/MMBtu for unit 1PL2=Depending on firing oil or natural gas, the appropriate emission limit from Tables I or 2 in lbs/MMBtu for unit 2T1 Unit operating time for turbine 1, in 1/60th of an hour.

  • Moreover, the White Paper outlined the basis of S&T infrastructure for a conducive Research and Development (R&D) environment in the country for the employment generation, poverty elimination, sustainable development and overall economic growth (Patra &Muchie, 2018).Along with the steps taken for the development of S&T infrastructure and facilities, initiatives were also taken to improve the conditions of South African public libraries sector.

  • Gross electrical output is calculated by subtracting the electrical output from gas turbine and steam turbine with the electrical input for ASU and compressor, because in HI- System their electrical input is considered as part of electrical power used in practical turbine.
