Produced Water definition

Produced Water means water recovered from an underground reservoir as a result of crude oil, condensate, or natural gas production and which may be recycled, disposed, or re-injected into an underground reservoir.
Produced Water means water that is an incidental byproduct from drilling for or the production of oil and gas.
Produced Water means water that is separated from extracted reservoir fluids during Production Operations.

Examples of Produced Water in a sentence

  • Company shall: (i) promptly notify Operator in writing of any such agreements with Third Parties; (ii) require such Third Party to accurately meter such On-Ranch Water volumes; and (iii) notify Operator in writing of any Produced Water Credits that have accrued as of the end of any given month within five (5) business days of the end of such month.

  • To the extent that Operator is required to pay a fee or royalty to a Third Party with respect to Disposal ▇▇▇▇▇ or Recycling Facilities located on Lands leased from such Third Party by Company, the applicable Fee payable to Company with respect to any such Produced Water or Recycled Water volumes shall be reduced, on a dollar for dollar basis, by the amount of such Third Party fees or royalties.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, with respect to any Produced Water volumes or Recycled Water volumes that are transported across or enter the Lands more than once, Operator shall incur the applicable Fee set forth in Section 2.4(b) with respect to the first instance that such volumes enter the Lands, and shall not incur an additional Fee with respect to subsequent crossings for such volumes.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in Section 2.3(b), in no event shall Operator be required to pay a Fee or any other fee under this Agreement for any Barrel of Produced Water that is transported by Operator onto or off of the North Ranch pursuant to a Legacy Agreement, except to the extent that any such Produced Water is received by Operator into any of its Facilities on the North Ranch that were constructed under this Agreement pursuant to a Lease.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the Produced Water Credit shall not apply in respect of the exercise of any rights (and the transportation of corresponding volumes of Produced Water) by any Third Party to the extent such rights exist as of the Effective Date.


More Definitions of Produced Water

Produced Water means water extracted from the earth from an oil or natural gas production well, or that is separated from oil or natural gas after extraction.
Produced Water means any produced water, flowback water, brine water, saltwater, associated incidental hydrocarbons, trace amounts of oil industry chemicals or various trace solids, and any other water borne liquid substances generated as waste in connection with drilling for and producing hydrocarbons, but excluding Fresh Water and Recycled Water.
Produced Water means the water (brine) brought up from the hydrocarbon-bearing strata during the extraction of oil and gas, and can include formation water, injection water, and any chemicals added downhole or during the oil/water separation process.
Produced Water means water produced in conjunction with the conventional production of oil and/or gas.
Produced Water means water, regardless of chloride and
Produced Water. – means water regardless of chloride and total dissolved solids (TDS) content that is produced in conjunction with oil and/or natural gas production and natural gas storage operations.
Produced Water means water that is produced as a byproduct of Producer’s operation of the ▇▇▇▇▇ that are located in the Dedication Area; provided that any water that is Associated Water shall not constitute Produced Water hereunder until such time as it has been separated from Product and ceases being Associated Water. The term “Produced Water” shall refer to all water that is in the Water System, whether such water is in the form of saltwater or water that has completed the recycling and treating processes.
