Carcinogen means a chemical that causes an increased incidence of benign or malignant neoplasms, or a substantial decrease in the latency period between exposure and onset of neoplasms through oral or dermal exposure, or through inhalation exposure when the cancer occurs at nonrespiratory sites in at least one (1) mammalian species or man through epidemiological studies or clinical studies, or both.
Biological agent shall mean any pathogenic (disease producing) micro-organism(s) and/or biologically produced toxin(s) (including genetically modified organisms and chemically synthesized toxins) which cause illness and/or death in humans, animals or plants.
Therapeutic diet means meals served that are soft, low-fat, low-sodium or controlled calorie.
Insecticide fogger means any insecticide product designed to release all or most of its content, as a fog or mist, into indoor areas during a single application.
Anaerobic digester means a liquid manure storage area that is constructed with the intent to capture and combust gas emissions resulting from the digestion of waste by microbes in anaerobic conditions. An anaerobic digester is a LMSA and is required to comply with all requirements applicable to LMSAs. Requirements specific to anaerobic digesters will be noted when applicable.
Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances or “PFAS” means a class of fluorinated organic chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom.
Chemical dependency means the physiological and psychological addiction to a controlled drug or substance, or to alcohol. Dependence upon tobacco, nicotine, caffeine or eating disorders are not included in this definition.
Radionuclide means a radioactive element or a radioactive isotope.
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or “API” shall mean one or more of the following active pharmaceutical ingredients: tenofovir alafenamide (“TAF”), tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (“TDF”), elvitegravir (“EVG”), and cobicistat (“COBI”).
Cannabinoid edible means food or potable liquid into which a cannabinoid concentrate, cannabinoid extract or dried marijuana leaves or flowers have been incorporated.
Electrostatic spray means a method of applying a spray coating in which opposite electric charges are applied to the substrate and the coating. The coating is attracted to the substrate by the electrostatic potential between them.
Fluoroscopic imaging assembly means a subsystem in which X-ray photons produce a visual image. It includes the image receptor(s) such as the image intensifier and spot-film device, electrical interlocks, if any, and structural material providing linkage between the image receptor and diagnostic source assembly.
Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.
Biological Samples means any physical samples obtained from Study Participants in accordance with the Protocol for the purposes of the Study.
Crawling bug insecticide means any insecticide product that is designed for use against ants, cockroaches, or other household crawling arthropods, including, but not limited to, mites, silverfish or spiders. “Crawling Bug Insecticide” does not include products designed to be used exclusively on humans or animals, or any house dust mite product. Manufacturing Know-How means all information, techniques, inventions, discoveries, improvements, practices, methods, knowledge, skill, experience and other technology, whether or not patentable or copyrightable, and any copyrights based thereon, relating to or necessary or useful for the production, purification, packaging, storage and transportation of Collaboration Products, including without limitation specifications, acceptance criteria, manufacturing batch records, standard operating procedures, engineering plans, installation, operation and process qualification protocols for equipment, validation records, master files submitted to the FDA, process validation reports, environmental monitoring processes, test data including pharmacological, toxicological and clinical test data, cost data and employee training materials.
Flying bug insecticide means any insecticide product that is designed for use against flying insects or other flying arthropods, including but not limited to flies, mosquitoes, moths, or gnats. “Flying Bug Insecticide” does not include “wasp and hornet insecticide”, products that are designed to be used exclusively on humans or animals, or any moth-proofing product. For the purposes of this definition only, “moth-proofing product” means a product whose label, packaging, or accompanying literature indicates that the product is designed to protect fabrics from damage by moths, but does not indicate that the product is suitable for use against flying insects or other flying arthropods.
Friable asbestos material means any material that contains more than 1% asbestos by weight and that can be crumbled, pulverized, or reduced to powder when dry, by hand pressure.
Charcoal lighter material means any combustible material designed to be applied on, incorporated in, added to, or used with charcoal to enhance ignition. “Charcoal Lighter Material” does not include any of the following: (A) electrical starters and probes, (B) metallic cylinders using paper tinder, (C) natural gas,
Anaerobic digestion ’ means a controlled process involving microbial decomposition of organic matter in the absence of oxygen ;
