Hedera Network definition

Hedera Network means the public, peer-to-peer, distributed ledger technology-based platform that utilizes the hashgraph consensus algorithm and is governed by the Hedera Council.

  • The Hedera Network operates through fees and rewards, which are denominated and paid in Coins, as described below.

  • Hedera Network end users and developer applications running on the Hedera Network (“Clients”) will use Nodes to submit transactions to the Hedera Network and will pay for such transactions with Coins.

  • At least 15 calendar days in advance, a Member shall notify Xxxxxx’s DevOps team of scheduled downtime for maintenance or upgrades during which time the Node will not be available to process transactions on the Hedera Network (“Scheduled Maintenance”).

  • Nodes will receive and process transactions from Clients for recording on the Hedera Network public ledger (“Node Activities”).

  • Node fees are paid by a Client in exchange for a Node submitting the Client’s transactions to the Hedera Network (“Node Fees”).

  • The Node Software is available under the Apache 2.0 license for the Member’s operation of a Node on the Hedera Network.

  • In order to ensure the integrity, stability, and security of the Hedera Network, Nodes are expected to be implemented in phases, and the phases may overlap with each other.

  • Area network means a type of electric distribution system served by multiple transformers interconnected in an electrical network circuit, which is generally used in large metropolitan areas that are densely populated, in order to provide highly reliable service. Area network has the same meaning as the term "distribution secondary grid network" found in institute of electrical and electronics engineers (IEEE) standard 1547 sub clause 4.1.4.

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide a Service.

  • Local Area Network or “LAN” means the infrastructure that enables the ability to transfer IP services within Sites (including data, voice and video conferencing services).

Spot network has the same meaning as the term "spot network" defined in Section 4.1.4 of IEEE Standard 1547.

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • Core Network means the transport infrastructure identified in accordance with Chapter III of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013;

  • Network plan means a policy of group health insurance offered by an insurer under which the financing and delivery of medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care, are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the insurer. The term does not include an arrangement for the financing of premiums.
