Financial assurance means a commitment of funds or resources by an operator to a regulatory authority that satisfies the requirements in s. 14 and is sufficient to pay for reclamation activities required by this chapter.
Financial Assurances means the financial assurances provided by the Shipper and accepted by the Carrier in accordance with Rule 21.
Reassurance means to offer an individual encouragement and support.
Performance Assurance means collateral in the form of cash or letters of credit, or other security acceptable to the requesting Party.
Quality Assurance Plan or “QAP” shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 11.2;
Provider of financial assurance means an entity that provides financial assurance to an Owner or Operator of an underground storage tank through one of the mechanisms listed in these Regulations, including a guarantor, insurer, risk retention group, surety, issuer of a letter of credit, issuer of a state required mechanism, or a state.
Quality Assurance means a systematic procedure for assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and appropriateness of services.
Organ procurement organization means a person designated by the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services as an organ procurement organization.
Cultural resources means archaeological and historic sites and artifacts, and traditional religious, ceremonial and social uses and activities of affected Indian tribes.
Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
agricultural holding means a portion of land not less than 0.8 hectares in extent used solely or mainly for the purpose of agriculture, horticulture or for breeding or keeping domesticated animals, poultry or bees;
Assurance means any act or action, whether written or oral, expressing an opinion or conclusion
Floodplain Management means the operation of an overall program of corrective and preventive measures for reducing flood damage, including but not limited to emergency preparedness plans, flood control works and floodplain management regulations.
Ocean marine insurance means insurance against loss of or damage to:
waste management means the collection, transport, recovery and disposal of waste, including the supervision of such operations and the after-care of disposal sites, and including actions taken as a dealer or broker;
Procurement organization means an eye bank, organ procurement organization, or tissue bank.
Agricultural waste means biomass waste materials capable of decomposition that are produced from the
Mission means the United States AID Mission to, or principal USAID office in, the Cooperating Country.
Corporate Services Agreement means the corporate services agreement dated on or about the Closing Date between the Issuer and the Corporate Services Provider, together with any agreement for the time being in force amending or supplementing such agreement.
Natural Resource or “Natural Resources” shall mean land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources, belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.
