High CV Merchant definition

High CV Merchant means Merchant has either: (i) greater than $1,000,000 in American Express Transaction Card volume (net of Chargebacks, credits and any other amounts Merchant owes to American Express) in a rolling 12 month period or (ii) greater than $100,000 in American Express Transaction Card volume (net of Chargebacks, credits and any other amounts Merchant owes to American Express) in any 3 consecutive months. For clarification, if Merchant has multiple Locations, the American Express Transaction Card volume from all of Merchant’s Locations shall be summed together when determining whether Merchant has exceeded the thresholds above.
High CV Merchant means an OptBlue® Program Merchant with either more than (i) $1,000,000 in charge volume (i.e., total chargers on net purchases less Chargebacks, credits and any other amounts owned to American Express by Xxxxxxxx) in a rolling 12-month period or (ii) $100,000 in charge volume in any 3 consecutive months.
High CV Merchant means a merchant with either (i) greater than CAD $500,000 in Charge Volume in a rolling twelve (12) month period or (ii) greater than CAD $100,000 in Charge Volume in any three (3) consecutive months. For clarification:

Examples of High CV Merchant in a sentence

  • The Program Merchant acknowledges and agrees to allow the conversion from their OptBlue account with Processor to a direct acceptance relationship with American Express if and when it becomes a High CV Merchant, see program qualification requirements in American Express Merchant Operating Guide provided below.

  • Merchant may be converted from the American Express Program to a direct Card acceptance relationship with American Express if and when Merchant has either (i) greater than $1,000,000 in Charge Volume in a rolling twelve (12) month prior or (ii) greater than $1,000,000 in Charge Volume in any three (3) consecutive months (hereinafter High CV Merchant).

  • In the event Merchant’s American Express annual charge volumeexceeds $1,000,000 in a rolling twelve month period or is greater than $100,000 in any three consecutive months, Merchant will be considered a High CV Merchant by American Express and will be required to enter into a direct merchant card acceptance agreement with American Express.

  • Merchant will be converted from Processor’s Direct Settlement Program for American Express to a direct card acceptance agreement with American Express if and when Merchant becomes a High CV Merchant (or if Merchant currently is a High CV Merchant).

  • If Xxxxxxxx has elected to accept American Express Cards, Merchant acknowledges that it may be converted from the OptBlue Program with MAS to a direct American Express Card acceptance relationship with American Express if and when it becomes a High CV Merchant pursuant to OptBlue Program eligibility requirements.

  • In the event Merchant’s American Express annual charge volume exceeds $1,000,000 in a rolling twelve month period or is greater than $100,000 in any three consecutive months, Merchant will be considered a High CV Merchant by American Express and will be required to enter into a direct merchant card acceptance agreement with American Express.

  • In the event Merchant’ s American Express annual charge volume exceeds $1,000,000 in a rolling twelve month period or is greater than $100,000 in any three consecutive months, Merchant will be considered a High CV Merchant by American Express and will be required to enter into a direct merchant card acceptance agreement with American Express.

  • You may be converted to a direct card acceptance relationship with American Express if and when you become a High CV Merchant.

  • In the event your Charge Volume exceeds (1) $1,000,000 in a rolling twelve month period, or (2) $100,000 in any three consecutive months (“High CV Merchant”), American Express may convert you to a direct Card acceptance relationship unless your Merchant Category Code is exempt from the High CV Merchant threshold according to current American Express OptBlue Program limitations.

  • Merchant acknowledges that it may be converted from the Program to a direct Card acceptance relationship with American Express if and when its Transaction volumes exceed the eligibility thresholds for the Program, meaning Merchant becomes a High CV Merchant.
