High Hazard Fireworks definition

High Hazard Fireworks means those fireworks defined as such under the Explosives Regulations made under the current Explosives Act of Canada, and, without limiting the generality of the forgoing, includes rockets, serpents, shells, bombshells, tourbillions, maroons, large wheels, bouquets, barrages, bombardos, waterfalls, fountains, batteries, illumination, set pieces, pigeons, and firecrackers;
High Hazard Fireworks means Subdivision 2 of Division 2 fireworks as defined in the Explosives Regulations, C.R.C., c.599;

Examples of High Hazard Fireworks in a sentence

  • No person shall sell, give or dispose of High Hazard Fireworks or Movie Pyrotechnics unless that person is a holder of a permit issued pursuant to Section 11.7 of this bylaw.

  • The Fire Chief may, at his discretion, require any applicant to comply with the High Hazard Fireworks standards.

  • Fire Protection required at High Hazard Fireworks and/or Movie Pyrotechnics shall be approved by the Fire Chief as reviewed at the site for the appropriate life safety and emergency response needs.

  • Each Fireworks Permit application must (1) specify whether the application is in respect of Low Hazard Fireworks or High Hazard Fireworks or both.

  • No person shall explode, light or activate High Hazard Fireworks or Movie Pyrotechnics unless that person is the holder of a permit issued pursuant to Section 11.7 of this bylaw.

High Hazard Fireworks means fireworks classed as Subdivision 2 and Subdivision 3 of Division 2 fireworks in the federal regulations, such as model rocket engines, rockets, serpents, shells, bombshells, tourbillions, maroons, large wheels, bouquets, barrages, bombardos, waterfalls, fountains, batteries, illumination, set pieces and pigeons, but does not include firecrackers;
High Hazard Fireworks means fireworks in Class 7, Division 2, Subdivision 2 of the Explosives Regulations;

High Hazard Fireworks means manufactured goods intended to be used for pyrotechnic effects that are classified by the Canada Explosives Regulations as high hazard fireworks (Class 7.2.2) but does not include Firecrackers; For the purposes of this bylaw Special Effect Pyrotechnics will be included in this definition.

High Hazard Fireworks means “display Fireworks” generally used for public recreation purposes, including rockets, serpents, shells, bombshells, skyrockets, torpedoes, Daygo bombs, tourbillions, maroons, large wheels, bouquets, barrages, bombardos, waterfalls, fountains, batteries, illuminations, set pieces, pigeons, firecrackers and any other like products described in Class 7, Division 2, Subdivision 2 of the Explosives Regulations under the Explosives Act;
