Hired Plant definition
Hired Plant means any plant, machinery, tools or equipment detailed in the Quotation and any and all plant, machinery, tools or equipment that the Company agrees to supply to the Customer under the Contract pursuant to Clause 3.4 but excluding (in each case) the Company Plant;
Hired Plant means any item(s) of Plant hired by the Hirer under the terms of the Contract and which shall also include any replacements thereof, together with accessories for the same.
Hired Plant means all contractor’s equipment and temporary works held by the contractor as hired under the agreement for hire thereof.
Examples of Hired Plant in a sentence
The Contractor shall upon request made by the Engineer at any time in relation to any Plant forthwith notify to the Engineer in writing the name and address of the owner thereof and shall in the case of Hired Plant certify that the agreement for the hire thereof contains a provision in accordance with the requirements of sub-clause (3) of this Clause.
An item such as a small portable generator to provide power for a "Light" or "electric hand tools", or small water pump required to empty a small excavation (60 minutes of pumping) is not consider as "Hired Plant" but such items are included in items to be supplied by the contractor as specified above.
