  • Small Diversity business concern means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically diverse, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically diverse individuals and that has its management and daily business controlled by one or more such individuals.   • Service-disabled veteran-owned business means a service-disabled veteran-owned business located in the State of Tennessee that satisfies the criteria in Tenn. Code. Ann. § 12-3-1102(8). "Service-disabled veteran" means any person who served honorably in active duty in the armed forces of the United States with at least a twenty percent (20%) disability that is service-connected, i.e., the disability was incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval or air service.

  • Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise means a business enterprise, including a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation that is:

  • Sexually oriented business means an adult arcade, adult bookstore or adult video store, adult cabaret, adult motel, adult motion picture theater, adult theater, escort agency, nude model studio, or sexual encounter center.
