Hospital Cash Benefit definition

Hospital Cash Benefit means the benefit as specified under clause 2(I) below, subject to the terms and conditions of this Policy;
Hospital Cash Benefit means the benefit as specified under Condition 1.I of Part C below, subject to the terms and conditions of this Policy;
Hospital Cash Benefit means any or all of the Benefit as outlined in Section D of the Description of Benefits, if applicable. “Hospital Confinement” means confinement in a Hospital for western medicine and surgical services as a result of a Medically Necessary condition and recommended by a Registered Medical Practitioner. For the purpose of this Contract, the Member must stay in the Hospital for the entire period of confinement and room and board charges must be incurred.

Examples of Hospital Cash Benefit in a sentence

  • The benefit will be limited to the maximum number of days an Insured Person received the Hospital Cash Benefit.

  • Any unclaimed Hospital Cash Benefit of any one Insured is not transferable to any other Insured.

  • In case the maximum benefit limits applicable during the Policy Term, as described above, have been used up, the cover for Daily Hospital Cash Benefit shall cease for the Life Assured for the remaining Policy Term.

  • In the event of Hospitalization of Life Assured due to any injury, sickness or disease, the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit shall be payable.

  • The Hospital Cash Benefit shall be payable only if Hospitalisation has occurred within India.

  • Daily Hospital Cash Benefit and / or Surgical Benefit shall not be payable for any treatment of illness/ailment/disease diagnosed or Hospitalisation taking place within 60 days from Effective Date or revival of cover whichever occurs later.

  • The Hospital Cash Benefit shall not be payable in the event of an Insured under this Policy undergoing any specified Day Care Procedure (as mentioned in the Day Care Procedure Benefit Annexure).

  • Upon attainment of this limit by an Insured, the Hospital Cash Benefit in respect of that Insured shall cease immediately.

  • The total number of days of Hospitalization for which Hospital Cash Benefit is payable during the Cover Period, in respect of each and every Insured covered under the policy, shall be limited to a maximum of 720 (seven hundred and twenty) days out of which not more than 360 (three hundred and sixty) days shall be in an Intensive Care Unit.

  • If a Day Care Procedure Benefit is performed no Hospital Cash Benefit shall be paid.

Related to Hospital Cash Benefit

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement.   • Disability Support Pension means the Commonwealth pension scheme to provide income security for persons with a disability as provided under the Social Security Act 1991, as amended from time to time, or any successor to that scheme.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Service payments means payments to the private entity of a qualifying project pursuant to a service contract.

  • Pharmacy benefits manager means a person that performs pharmacy benefits management.
