Individually Identifiable Private Information: is information where, for research purposes, the identity of the subject is or may readily be ascertained by the Investigator or associated with the information.Obtain: means to receive or access Individually Identifiable Private Information (or identifiable specimens) for research purposes.
Collaborator access to and review of Identifiable Private Information shall be only for on-site quality auditing.
If the Collaborator will have access to Identifiable Private Information, the protocol and the informed consent must clearly state (i) the existence of the Collaborator; (ii) the Collaborator’s access to Identifiable Private Information, if any; and (iii) the extent to which confidentiality will be maintained.
In accordance with the HHS Office of Human Research Protection guidelines, Collaborator access to and review of Identifiable Private Information shall be only for on-site quality auditing.
The Recipient will not receive any Identifiable Private Information (IPI) as defined in 45 CFR 46.
