IES definition

IES means the Interconnected Electric System which is all transmission facilities and all Electric Distribution Systems in Alberta that are interconnected, but does not include an Electric Distribution System or a transmission facility within the service area of the City of Medicine Hat or a subsidiary of the City of Medicine Hat, unless the City of Medicine Hat passes a bylaw that is approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council under Section 138 of the EUA;

IES has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.

IES means the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.

Examples of IES in a sentence

The second character shall be the numerical character representing the transverse light distribution type as specified in IES RP-8 (i.e. Types 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5).
The luminaire shall be IES LM-79 tested by a laboratory holding accreditation from the NVLAP for IES LM-79 testing procedures.

IES means the Illuminating Engineering Society. "NFPA" means the National Fire Protection Association. "OSFM" means the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal.

IES means IES Utilities Inc., an Iowa corporation.

IES means the IlluminatingEngineering Society of North America and, as used herein, is the prefix for test procedures adopted by IES.

IES means the interconnected electric system in Alberta, as such term is defined in the Act;
