Independent Work definition

Independent Work means intellectual property created or developed by a faculty member without the use or support of any of the College’s resources.

Independent Work means any Intellectual Property Rights that a Party (or its Affiliates or, solely with respect to Provider, its Subcontractors): (a) created or owned prior to the Effective Date; or (b) creates after the Effective Date and outside the scope of this Agreement, including, with respect to each of (a) and (b), any modifications, enhancements or derivative works thereof or based thereon. Examples of Independent Work in a sentence

  • If a Party desires to submit any portion of the Data resulting from any Independent Work conducted by the other Party and related Regulatory Filings generated by the other Party to support Regulatory Approval in its territory, then such Party shall notify the other Party in writing at any time upon the completion of such Independent Work.

  • After the completion of such Independent Work, such Party shall provide the other Party with a report of such Independent Work Costs.

  • Notwithstanding Section 4.5(a), the Party conducting the Independent Work approved by the JSC under Section 4.3 shall be solely responsible for the Development Costs with respect to such Independent Work, subject to Section 9.2(c).

  • In addition, students shall not engage in the following forms of academic misconduct: (A) Cheating; (B) Plagiarism; (C) Misconduct Regarding Independent Work; (D) Misconduct Regarding Taking Examinations, (E) Violating Anonymity; (F) Obstructing School Property or the Work of Another, or (G) Other Academic Misconduct.

  • For clarity, this Section 4.7(a) shall apply to all Development under the GDP, including Independent Work (but subject to Section 4.7(b) below), Exelixis Only Development Work and Licensee Only Development Work.
