e-Procurement means the use of information and communication technology (especially the internet) by the Procuring Entity in conducting its procurement processes with bidders for the acquisition of goods (supplies), works and services with the aim of open, non discriminatory and efficient procurement through transparent procedures;
Mis-procurement means public procurement in contravention of any provision of Sindh Public Procurement Act, 2010, any rule, regulation, order or instruction made thereunder or any other law in respect thereof, or relating to, public procurement;
Indirect supervision means the supervision of an unlicensed school staff member when the school nurse or other health care provider is not physically available on site but immediately available by telephone.
Indirect services means special education services provided by a special education teacher which include ongoing progress reviews; cooperative planning; consultation; demonstration teaching; modification and adaptation of the environment, curriculum, materials, or equipment; and direct contact with children with disabilities to monitor and observe.
Procurement Process means the process commenced by the issuing of this Invitation and concluding upon the award of a contract (or other outcome as determined by Tetra Tech International Development) or upon the earlier termination of the process
Procurement item means an item of personal property, a technology, a service, or a construction project.
Domestic content procurement preference ’ means all iron and steel used in the project are produced in the United States; the manufactured products used in the project are produced in the United States; or the construction materials used in the project are produced in the United States.
Procurement means the purchasing, buying, renting, leasing, or otherwise obtaining of any supplies, services, or construction. It includes all functions that pertain to the procurement of any supply, service, or construction item, including description of requirements, selection and solicitation of sources, preparation and award of contract, and all phases of contract administration;
Public Procurement means the acquisition by any means of goods, works or services by the government;
Environmentally-Limited Resource means a resource which has a limit on its run hours imposed by a federal, state, or other governmental agency that will significantly limit its availability, on either a temporary or long-term basis. This includes a resource that is limited by a governmental authority to operating only during declared PJM capacity emergencies.
Cooperative procurement means procurement conducted by, or on behalf of:
government procurement means the process by which a government obtains the use of or acquires goods or services, or any combination thereof, for governmental purposes and not with a view to commercial sale or resale, or use in the production or supply of goods or services for commercial sale or resale;
Indirect holdings means all securities of a company that are held in an account or fund, including a mutual fund, that is managed by one or more persons who are not employed by the state treasurer or a retirement system, if the state treasurer or retirement system owns shares or interests either:
Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.
Direct scattered radiation means that scattered radiation which has been deviated in direction only by materials irradiated by the useful beam (See "Scattered radiation").
Indirect cost means any cost not directly identified with a single final cost objective, but identified with two or more final cost objectives or with at least one intermediate cost objective.
Social Engineering Security Procedures means security procedures intended to prevent Social Engineering Fraud as set forth in the Application and/or as otherwise provided in writing to the Underwriter.
Financial Crime Risk Management Activity means any action to meet Compliance Obligations relating to or in connection with the detection, investigation and prevention of Financial Crime that the Bank or members of the HSBC Group may take.
High global warming potential hydrofluorocarbons means any hydrofluorocarbons in a particular end use for which EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) program has identified other acceptable alternatives that have lower global warming potential. The SNAP list of alternatives is found at 40 CFR Part 82 subpart G with supplemental tables of alternatives available at (http://www.epa.gov/snap/).
In-stream Waste Concentration or "(IWC)" means the concentration of a discharge in the receiving water after mixing has occurred in the allocated zone of influence.
Environmental Management Framework or “EMF” means the policy framework for environmental management, approved by the Project Implementing Entity’s Board of Directors on July 21, 2009, which sets forth the environmental policies and procedures that shall apply to the carrying out of the Project.
Indirect Costs has the same meaning as in 44 Ill. Admin. Code 7000.
FIRM PROCUREMENT means the agreement between the parties for mutually agreed terms and conditions with commitment of Quantity Ordered.
TO Procurement Officer meansTO Procurement Officer. The Agency may change the TO Procurement Officer at any time by written notice to the TO Contractor.
Indirect Participants Has the meaning specified in Section 4.01(b) of this Trust Supplement.
Organ procurement organization means a person designated by the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services as an organ procurement organization.
