Initial withholding tax value definition

Initial withholding tax value means the amount of income tax withheld under part 3 of the income tax act of 1967, 1967 PA 281, MCL 206.701 to 206.713, from individuals employed within the eligible property subject to a transformational brownfield plan for the calendar year in which the resolution adding the eligible property to the plan is adopted. For purposes of this act, an individual is employed within the eligible property if the eligible property is the individual's principal place of employment. The initial withholding tax value shall not include construction period tax capture revenues.
