Interconnection Customer Obligations. The Interconnection Customer shall maintain the Large Generating Facility and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities in a safe and reliable manner and in accordance with this LGIA.

Interconnection Customer Obligations. The Interconnection Customer shall maintain satisfactory operating communications with the CAISO in accordance with the provisions of the CAISO Tariff and with the Participating TO’s dispatcher or representative designated by the Participating TO. The Interconnection Customer shall provide standard voice line, dedicated voice line and facsimile communications at its Large Generating Facility control room or central dispatch facility through use of either the public telephone system, or a voice communications system that does not rely on the public telephone system. The Interconnection Customer shall also provide the dedicated data circuit(s) necessary to provide Interconnection Customer data to the CAISO and Participating TO as set forth in Appendix D, Security Arrangements Details. The data circuit(s) shall extend from the Large Generating Facility to the location(s) specified by the CAISO and Participating TO. Any required maintenance of such communications equipment shall be performed by the Interconnection Customer. Operational communications shall be activated and maintained under, but not be limited to, the following events: system paralleling or separation, scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns, equipment clearances, and hourly and daily load data.
Interconnection Customer Obligations. The Interconnection Customer shall at its own expense operate, maintain and control the Large Generating Facility and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities in a safe and reliable manner and in accordance with this LGIA. The Interconnection Customer shall operate the Large Generating Facility and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Balancing Authority Area of which it is part, including such requirements as set forth in Appendix C, Interconnection Details, of this LGIA. Appendix C, Interconnection Details, will be modified to reflect changes to the requirements as they may change from time to time. A Party may request that another Party provide copies of the requirements set forth in Appendix C, Interconnection Details, of this LGIA. The Interconnection Customer shall not commence Commercial Operation of an Electric Generating Unit with the Participating TO’s Transmission System until the Participating TO provides prior written approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, for operation of such Electric Generating Unit.

Interconnection Customer shall provide standard voice line, dedicated voice line and facsimile communications at its Generating Facility control room or central dispatch facility through use of either the public telephone system, or a voice communications system that does not rely on the public telephone system. Interconnection Customer shall also provide the dedicated data circuit(s) necessary to provide Interconnection Customer data to Transmission Provider as set forth in Appendix D, Security Arrangements Details. The data circuit(s) shall extend from the Generating Facility to the location(s) specified by Transmission Provider. Any required maintenance of such communications equipment shall be performed by and at the cost of Interconnection Customer. Interconnection Customer Obligations. Interconnection Customer shall obtain Transmission Provider’s approval prior to either synchronizing with the Transmission System or energizing, as applicable per the determination of Transmission Provider, the Customer Facility or, except in an Emergency Condition, disconnecting the Customer Facility from the Transmission System, and shall coordinate such synchronizations, energizations, and disconnections with the Interconnected Transmission Owner.
Interconnection Customer Obligations. Interconnection Customer shall install and maintain satisfactory operating communications with Transmission Provider’s system dispatcher or its other designated representative and with the Interconnected Transmission Owner. Interconnection Customer shall provide standard voice line, dedicated voice line and facsimile communications at its Customer Facility control room through use of the public telephone system. Interconnection Customer also shall provide and maintain backup communication links with both Transmission Provider and Interconnected Transmission Owner for use during abnormal conditions as specified by Transmission Provider and Interconnected Transmission Owner, respectively. Interconnection Customer further shall provide the dedicated data circuit(s) necessary to provide Interconnection Customer data to the Transmission Provider and Interconnected Transmission Owner as necessary to conform with Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.
