Interconnection Rights definition

Interconnection Rights. Interconnection Customer shall obtain Capacity Interconnection Rights in accordance with Subpart C of Part VI of the Tariff at the location specified in section 1.0b upon its execution of the final Interconnection Service Agreement described in section 7.0(a) of this Interim ISA.
Interconnection Rights means any and all of Seller’s rights and interests in the Interconnection, including Seller’s rights and interests under the Generator Interconnection Agreement, and any subsequent studies, reports or other documents provided by Transmission Provider and/ or Transmission Owner.
Interconnection Rights. Any and all of Seller’s rights and interests in the Project’s transmission interconnection queue position, the application for Project interconnection filed by Seller with the transmission provider, any studies, reports or other documents provided by the transmission provider, and any and all other rights relating to the interconnection of the Facility to the transmission grid with respect to this Project.

Examples of Interconnection Rights in a sentence

  • Such an election may include all or any portion of the Customer Facility’s capacity for which Capacity Interconnection Rights have been granted.

  • The Generation Interconnection Customer may elect to operate all or a portion of its Customer Facility as a Capacity Resource only to the extent that the Interconnection Service Agreement grants Capacity Interconnection Rights.

  • In accordance with the results of such studies and subject to such conditions as Transmission Provider determines to be reasonable and appropriate, Transmission Provider shall (a) permit Interconnection Customer to operate the Customer Facility and the Customer Interconnection Facilities, and (b) grant Interconnection Customer limited, interim Interconnection Rights commensurate with the extent to which operation of the Customer Facility is permitted.

  • The availability and amount of such interim Capacity Interconnection Rights shall be dependent upon completion and results of an interim deliverability study.

  • Deliveries scheduled using Capacity Transmission Injection Rights have rights similar to those under Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service or, if coupled with a generating unit external to the PJM Region that satisfies all applicable criteria specified in the PJM Manuals, similar to Capacity Interconnection Rights.

  • To the extent that any portion of the Participant Facility described in Section 1.0 is not a Capacity Resource with Capacity Interconnection Rights, such portion of the Participant Facility shall be an Energy Resource.

  • Incremental Deliverability Rights may be obtained by a generator or a Generation Interconnection Customer, pursuant to an IDR Transfer Agreement, to satisfy, in part, the deliverability requirements necessary to obtain Capacity Interconnection Rights.

  • Any interim Capacity Interconnection Rights awarded during the interim time period shall terminate on May 31, 2020.

  • Any interim Capacity Interconnection Rights awarded during the interim time period shall terminate on May 31, 2023.

More Definitions of Interconnection Rights

Interconnection Rights means any and all of the Company’s (including rights as assignee of Sequoia), Seller’s or any of its other Affiliatesrights and interests in the Project’s transmission and interconnection queue position for Project interconnection for 150 MW filed by Sequoia with MISO, with a queue number to be assigned by MISO (which will be assigned to the Company at the “Closing” under the Company-Sequoia Agreement), any studies, reports or other documents provided by XXXX, and any and all other rights relating to the interconnection of the Project to the transmission system of MISO or Transmission Owner with respect to the Project, including the Interconnection Agreement.

Related to Interconnection Rights

  • Capacity Interconnection Rights means the rights to input generation as a Generation Capacity Resource into the Transmission System at the Point of Interconnection where the generating facilities connect to the Transmission System.

  • Interconnection is As Defined in the Act.

  • Interconnect means to connect an alarm system including an automatic dialing device to a telephone line, either directly or through a mechanical device that utilizes a telephone, for the purpose of using the telephone line to transmit a message upon the activation of the alarm system.

  • Interconnection Agreements means, collectively, (a) an agreement by and among Owner, TransÉnergie and ISO-NE that sets forth such parties’ respective rights and obligations following the interconnection at the U.S. Border of the NECEC Transmission Line with the Québec Line and (b) an agreement by and between Owner and ISO-NE that sets forth such parties’ respective rights and obligations following the interconnection at the Delivery Point of the NECEC Transmission Line with certain transmission facilities operated by ISO-NE. The Interconnection Agreements shall address cost responsibilities among entities other than the Distribution Company and the other RFP Sponsors and shall include provisions, both technical and otherwise, for safe and reliable interconnected operations of the HVDC Transmission Project following Commercial Operation (including use of the HVDC Transmission Project for the delivery of electric power in emergency circumstances).

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • Interconnection Agreement means the interconnection agreement entered into by Seller pursuant to which the Facility will be interconnected with the Transmission System, and pursuant to which Seller’s Interconnection Facilities and any other Interconnection Facilities will be constructed, operated and maintained during the Contract Term.

  • Electrical Interconnection Facilities means the equipment and facilities required to safely and reliably interconnect a Facility to the transmission system of the Transmitting Utility, including the collection system between each Bloom System, transformers and all switching, metering, communications, control and safety equipment, including the facilities described in any applicable Interconnection Agreement.

  • Customer Interconnection Facilities means all facilities and equipment owned and/or controlled, operated and maintained by Interconnection Customer on Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in the appropriate appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System.

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Interconnection Facilities means the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and the Customer Interconnection Facilities.

  • Generation Interconnection Agreement means the generation interconnection agreement to be entered into separately between Seller and PGE, providing for the construction, operation, and maintenance of interconnection facilities required to accommodate deliveries of Seller's Net Output.

  • PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. or "PJM" means the privately-

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility. Interconnection Customer:

  • Interconnection Party means a Transmission Provider, Interconnection Customer, or the Interconnected Transmission Owner. Interconnection Parties shall mean all of them.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region. Generation Interconnection Request:

  • Interconnection equipment means a group of components or an integrated system owned and operated by the interconnection customer that connects an electric generator with a local electric power system, as that term is defined in Section 3.1.6.2 of IEEE Standard 1547, or with the electric distribution system. Interconnection equipment is all interface equipment including switchgear, protective devices, inverters or other interface devices. Interconnection equipment may be installed as part of an integrated equipment package that includes a generator or other electric source.

  • Interconnector means equipment used to link the electricity system of the State to electricity systems outside of the State;

  • Interconnection Provider means PacifiCorp Transmission.

  • Interconnection arrangements means arrangements governing the physical connection of two or more networks to allow the use of another's network to hand off traffic where it is ultimately delivered (e.g., connection of a customer of telephone provider A to a customer of telephone company B) or sharing data and other information resources.

  • Surplus Interconnection Service means any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in an Interconnection Service Agreement, such that if Surplus Interconnection Service is utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same. Switching and Tagging Rules:

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.
