Interior lot means a lot other than a corner lot.
Floodproofing means any combination of structural and nonstructural additions, changes, or adjustments to structures which reduce or eliminate flood damage to real estate or improved real property, water and sanitation facilities, structures, and their contents.

Disturbance Control Standard or “DCS” shall mean the reliability standard that sets the time limit following a disturbance within which a balancing authority must return its Area Control Error to within a specified range.
Curbside “Curb” means that portion of the right-of-way adjacent to paved or traveled roadways, including the end of a driveway, curb line or alley line. Containers will be placed as close to the roadway as practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians.
Teen dating violence means any act of physical, emotional or sexual abuse, including stalking, harassing and threatening, that occurs between two students who are currently in or who have recently been in a dating relationship.
Interior means the spaces, parts, components or elements of an individual dwelling unit.
Floodplain or "Flood-prone area" means any land area susceptible to being inundated by water from any source (see definition of "Flooding").
Water surface elevation means the height, in relation to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988, or other datum, where specified, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.
Impact surface means an interior or exterior surface that is subject to damage by repeated sudden force such as certain parts of door frames.

Landslide means episodic down slope movement of a mass of soil or rock that includes, but is not limited to, rock falls, slumps, mudflows, and earth flows.
Wildland means an area where development is generally limited to roads, railroads, power lines, and widely scattered structures. Child-resistant packaging means packaging that is designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under five years of age to open or obtain a toxic or harmful amount of the substance in the container within a reasonable time and not difficult for normal adults to use properly, but does not mean packaging that all children under five years of age cannot open or obtain a toxic or harmful amount of the substance in the container within a reasonable time.

Sanitary Sewer Overflow or “SSO” means an overflow, spill, diversion, or release of wastewater from or caused by Akron’s Sanitary Sewer System. This term shall include: 1) discharges to waters of the State or United States from Akron's Sanitary Sewer System; and 2) any release of wastewater from Akron's Sanitary Sewer System to public or private property that does not reach waters of the State or the United States, including Building/Property Backups.
