Intermittent fault means a problem that has been identified but is not consistent. If the problem ceases on inspection by the engineer any further reporting of the same issue will be deemed to be intermittent. In such situations an excess fee can be applied. Alternatively, a fault deemed to be intermittent can be progressed on a Pay on Use basis. (See definition below).
