Into Tank definition

Into Tank means, in relation to a transfer, sale or purchase of the Goods whereby title to the Goods are delivered by transfer from one storage tank into another tank in the same storage facility, as may be provided for in the Contract.
Into Tank means the delivery of Product by Seller to Buyer in bulk into the storage tank designated by Buyer. “In Situ” (Stock Transfer) shall mean the sale and purchase of Product in bulk as specified in the Special Provisions within the storage tank designated by Buyer and agreed to by Seller and without any obligation of physical delivery by Seller to Buyer.

Examples of Into Tank in a sentence

  • For Into Tank deliveries, the quantity of Product delivered under this Agreement shall be determined by using proven meters at Buyer’s tank inlet manifold, if available; otherwise by manual measurement of Buyer’s tanks.

  • In respect of deliveries Ex Tank, Into Tank or In situ, nominations shall, unless otherwise agreed between the parties, be made pursuant to the standard operating terms and procedures of the relevant storage company, in use at the time of delivery.

  • QUANTITY AND QUALITY DETERMINATION The quantity and quality of the Product delivered under the Agreement shall be determined for each lot in accordance with the standard practice in use at the relevant storage company (for deliveries Ex Tank, Into Tank or In Situ) or the relevant pipeline operating company (for FIP or Ex-Pipeline deliveries) at thetime and point of delivery, save if otherwise provided for specifically in the Specific Terms.

  • The Seller shall provide the Substance Identifier to the Buyer: 56.4.1. at the time of loading for FOB, CFR, CIF, and FCA deliveries; 56.4.2. at the time of transfer for Ex-Tank, Into Tank, In Situ, and free into pipe deliveries; 56.4.3. by the time of discharge for Delivered deliveries; or 56.4.4. by the time the Product reaches the agreed delivery point in the case of Delivered deliveries.

  • NOMINATION For Ex Tank, Into Tank or In Situ deliveries, nominations shall be made pursuant to the standard operating procedures of the relevant storage company in use at the time of delivery.For FIP deliveries (or deliveries FCA by pipeline) or Ex-Pipeline deliveries (or deliveries DAP by pipeline), nominations shall be made pursuant to the standard operating procedures of the relevant pipeline operating company in use at the time and point of delivery.

  • In case of Into Tank and In Situ sales, all taxes and duties in respect of any stage prior to the Product passes the inlet flange of the Buyer’s receiving storage tank shall be for the Seller’s account.

  • Such samples will be taken in accordance with the standard practice at the pipeline facility.If properly functioning automatic samplers are not available, quality will be determined as for Ex Tank and Into Tank, as set out in this table.

  • Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, this Part Four of these Cepsa Trading 2021 GT&C’s shall apply to all Ex Tank, Into Tank and In Situ Sales Contracts of Products to be performed, as sellers, either by CEPSA TRADING, S.A.U. and/or any of its Affiliates.

  • In the case of delivery Ex Tank, In Situ or Into Tank, the Seller or the Buyer (as applicable) shall make nominations in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the relevant storage company.


More Definitions of Into Tank

Into Tank means the delivery basis whereby Seller delivers the Crude Oil to the Buyer’s receiving storage tank and title passes to the Buyer in accordance with the Delivery Term.
Into Tank means delivery by Vessel or pipeline into the Authority’s storage tank.

  • oil tanker means a ship constructed or adapted primarily to carry oil in bulk in its cargo spaces and includes combination carriers and any “chemical tanker” as defined in Annex II of the present Convention when it is carrying a cargo or part cargo of oil in bulk.

  • Water surface elevation means the height, in relation to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988, or other datum, where specified, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.

  • Septic tank means a water tight tank designed to receive sewage and to effect the adequate decomposition of organic matter in sewage by bacterial action;

  • public sewer or drain means a sewer or drain which belongs to a sewerage undertaker, the Environment Agency, an internal drainage board or a local authority; and

  • chemical tanker means a ship constructed or adapted and used for the carriage in bulk of any liquid product listed in chapter 17 of the International Bulk Chemical Code;

  • Transportation Service means a service for moving people and goods, such as intercity bus service and passenger rail service.
