JPS Grid definition

JPS Grid. The transmission and distribution facilities on JPS’ side of the Interconnection Point through which the output of the Facility will be distributed by JPS to users of electricity.
JPS Grid. The transmission or distribution facilities on JPS' side of the Interconnection Point through which the Net Energy Output of the Complex will be distributed by JPS to users of electricity. "JPS Termination Notice" - A notice of termination issued by JPS to the Company pursuant to Clause 12.4. “kW” - Kilowatts. "kWh" - Kilowatt-hours. "Laws of Jamaica" - The laws of Jamaica and all proclamations, rules, regulations, subsidiary legislation, notifications and policies made pursuant thereto.
JPS Grid means JPS’ transmission and distribution network.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right, without penalty, to immediately isolate itself from the JPS Grid in the event of voltage or frequency variations (“abnormal or contingency conditions”) on the JPS Grid and/or the Interconnection Facilities outside of the limits within which it is obligated to operate.

  • The Company warrants that the JPS Interconnection Facilities are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the Commercial Operations Date and are of such standard and technical specification to accommodate any supply of energy to the JPS Grid.

  • Pricing Level III shall exist on an Adjustment Date if the Consolidated Leverage Ratio for the relevant period is less than 3.75 to 1.00 but greater than or equal to 3.25 to 1.00.

All Major Equipment (including bulk material requirements) are scheduled at area level and detailed construction activities at each commodity level follow the same area concept. The Subcontract schedules are similarly developed for each area, as applicable.

  • Digital Signal Level 0 (DS-0) means the lowest-level signal in the time division multiplex digital hierarchy, and represents a voice-grade channel operating at either the 56 Kbps or 64 Kbps transmission bit rates. There are twenty-four (24) DS-0 channels in a DS-1.
