Maintenance Margin definition

Maintenance Margin means the minimum amount of money required in your Trading Account as specified on the Trading Platform in order to keep a Transaction open on the Trading Platform.
Maintenance Margin means the Margin Level calculated by the Company at a certain moment of time that is required to maintain the Client’s Open Positions as set out in Schedule 1 hereof.
Maintenance Margin means the minimum amount, calculated as a percentage of the market value of the securities, calculated with respect to the last trading day’s closing price, to be maintained by the client with the broker.

Examples of Maintenance Margin in a sentence

  • It is understood that once you place an Order, until such Order is executed and the Transaction is closed, the Maintenance Margin shall not be used as collateral and hence shall be unavailable for withdrawal.

  • In order to keep a Position Open, you undertake to ensure that the amount in your Trading Account equals or exceeds the Maintenance Margin.
