Known Index definition

Known Index. The last known consumer price index;
Known Index. The last Index published prior to the relevant point in time.
Known Index at any given time - the Index last published before such date.

  • It should be clarified that the above linkage mechanism shall only apply in the case of an increase in the CPI and no indexation shall apply if the Known Index on the date of exercise of the Call Option is lower than the Known Index on the transaction Closing date or the dividend distribution date, as the case may be.

  • If in the Initial Offering Report of the relevant Series is stipulated that the principal and/or interest are linked to the index and that the principal and/or interest are unsecured, than the Payment Index shall be the Known Index on the date of the relevant payment, even if such index is less than the Basic Index.

  • The manner for determining the Payment Index in the event that the Known Index on the relevant due date is lower than the Base Index will be detailed, as aforesaid, in the first offering report for the Debentures of the said Series.

  • The “Base Index” - The Known Index on a specific date, which will be detailed in the first offering report of the Series H Debentures.
