The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to facilitate the operation of the Citizens’ Law Enforcement Review Board (hereinafter referred to as CLERB), including the review of Complaints filed against peace officers or custodial officers employed by the County of San Diego in the Sheriff’s Department or the Probation Department, as authorized by San Diego County Ordinance #7880, as amended (Article XVIII, Section 340-340.15 of the San Diego County Code of Administrative Ordinances).
