For example, environment friendly redevelopment plans could include: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification, green building materials; green landscaping techniques such as using drought resistant plants; energy efficient designs, materials, appliances, machinery, etc.; renewable sources of energy, and/or recycling/reuse of old building materials such as brick or wood.
