Licensable Patents definition

Licensable Patents shall refer to and mean US Patent Application # 60/797,433 entitled "Intra-jugular Catheter" and any U.S. or foreign patent applications, reissues, extensions, renewals, reexaminations, certificates of invention, substitutions, divisions, continuations, and continuations-in-part thereof having the Principal Investigator as an inventor and having the same priority date as the parent applications.
Licensable Patents means any and all U.S. patent applications, including reissue, divisional, continuation and reexamination applications, together with any and all corresponding U.S. and foreign patents and patent applications based on inventions which relate to and are usable with the Licensable Technology and made in performance of the CONTRACT by employees of UNH, either alone or jointly with employees of SPONSOR.
Licensable Patents means Patents that, as of the Effective Date, are co-owned or not owned by REL or any of its Subsidiaries, and REL or its Subsidiaries have the right to grant, to any Third Party, licenses within and of the scope set forth herein and without the requirement to consent of any Third Party or pay consideration to any Third Party

Examples of Licensable Patents in a sentence

  • CCF shall notify OPTIONEE of any and all costs associated with prosecuting and maintaining the Licensable Patents throughout the Option Period, and OPTIONEE shall reimburse CCF up to $2,500 any and all reasonable costs associated therewith, Reimbursement payments shall be due within 15 days of receiving invoices from CCF.

Related to Licensable Patents

  • Licensable means having the right to grant, whether at the time of the Distribution or subsequently acquired, the rights conveyed herein.

  • Licensee Patents means any Patents within the Control of Licensee as of the Effective Date and at any time during the Term relating to the Product.

  • Licensed Patent Rights means: (a) Patent applications (including provisional patent applications and PCT patent applications) or patents listed in Appendix A, all divisions and continuations of these applications, all patents issuing from these applications, divisions, and continuations, and any reissues, reexaminations, and extensions of these patents; (b) to the extent that the following contain one or more claims directed to the invention or inventions disclosed in 2.9(a): (i) continuations-in-part of 2.9(a); (ii) all divisions and continuations of these continuations-in-part; (iii) all patents issuing from these continuations-in-part, divisions, and continuations; (iv) priority patent application(s) of 2.9(a); and (v) any reissues, reexaminations, and extensions of these patents; (c) to the extent that the following contain one or more claims directed to the invention or inventions disclosed in 2.9(a): all counterpart foreign and U.S. patent applications and patents to 2.9(a) and 2.9(b), including those listed in Appendix A; and (d) Licensed Patent Rights shall not include 2.9(b) or 2.9(c) to the extent that they contain one or more claims directed to new matter which is not the subject matter disclosed in 2.9(a).

  • Technology Rights means BOARD's rights in any technical information, know-how, processes, procedures, compositions, devices, methods, formulae, protocols, techniques, software, designs, drawings or data created by the inventor(s) listed in Exhibit I at UTMDACC before the EFFECTIVE DATE, which are not claimed in PATENT RIGHTS but that are necessary for practicing PATENT RIGHTS.

  • Licensed Intellectual Property Rights means any Intellectual Property Rights owned by a third party that a Person has a right to use, exploit or practice by virtue of a license grant, immunity from Legal Action or otherwise.

  • Joint Intellectual Property Rights means any work under the Subcontract, which:

  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) (11/18) means any patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets, trade names, service marks, trademarks, trade dress, moral rights, know-how and any other similar rights or intangible assets to which rights of ownership accrue, and all registrations, applications, disclosures, renewals, extensions, continuations, or reissues of the foregoing now or hereafter in force. “Key Personnel” (11/18) means the specific individuals identified in Section 3.11 to fill Key Positions.

  • Patents means all patents, patent applications and like protections including without limitation improvements, divisions, continuations, renewals, reissues, extensions and continuations-in-part of the same.

  • Company Intellectual Property Rights means the Intellectual Property owned or used by the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Joint Patent Rights means Patent Rights that contain one or more claims that cover Joint Technology.

  • Company Patents means Patents owned by the Company or used or held for use by the Company in the Business.

  • Intellectual Property Right means any patent, trade mark, service mark, copyright, moral right, right in a design, know-how and any other intellectual or industrial property rights, anywhere in the world whether or not registered.

  • Third Party Intellectual Property Rights means any Intellectual Property owned by a third party.

  • Licensed IP Rights means, collectively, the Licensed Patent Rights and the Licensed Know-How Rights.

  • Background Intellectual Property Rights means all Intellectual Property Rights owned, controlled, obtained, or licensed by a Party at any time prior to or after the term of this Agreement, or arising from development of Technology created independently of this Agreement.

  • Existing Patents has the meaning set forth in Section 10.2.1.

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Collaboration Patents means any and all Patents that claim or cover any of the Collaboration Know-How.

  • Joint Patents means all Patents claiming any Joint Invention.

  • Registered Intellectual Property Rights means all Intellectual Property Rights that are the subject of an application, certificate, filing, registration, or other document issued by, filed with, or recorded by, any Governmental Authority in any jurisdiction.

  • Product Patents means any and all United States patents and patent applications, all divisionals, continuations, continuations-in-part, re-issues, extensions or foreign counterparts thereof, now or hereafter owned or controlled ("controlled" being used in the sense of having the right to grant licenses thereunder) by PERIMMUNE, covering the manufacture, use, sale, offer for sale and/or importation of the Product, including but not limited to, the U.S. Patent No. 5,407,912 attached hereto as Exhibit B.

  • Program Patents has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.2.

  • Patent License means any written agreement granting any right with respect to any invention on which a Patent is in existence or a Patent application is pending, in which agreement Borrower now holds or hereafter acquires any interest.

  • Intellectual Property Rights or IPR means copyright, rights related to or affording protection similar to copyright, rights in databases, patents and rights in inventions, semi-conductor topography rights, trade marks, rights in internet domain names and website addresses and other rights in trade or business names, designs, Know-How, trade secrets and other rights in Confidential Information; applications for registration, and the right to apply for registration, for any of the rights listed at (a) that are capable of being registered in any country or jurisdiction; and all other rights having equivalent or similar effect in any country or jurisdiction;
