Local Contractor or Local Supplier definition

Local Contractor or Local Supplier means a person, firm or entity performing works, services and/or supplying equipment, goods and materials to the Contractor, whether as a Subcontractor or otherwise, whose business enterprise is incorporated or otherwise organised under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago and whose principal place of business is in Trinidad and Tobago.

  • Non-local supplier means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content less than or equal to 20%, as defined under above Order.

  • The Contractor/ Vendor means the individual or firm or company undertaking the works and shall include legal personal representative of individual or composing the firm or company and the permitted assignees of individual or firms of company.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.
