Local Matching Funds definition

Local Matching Funds means the contractor’s non-federal tax dollars that are not otherwise obligated and are designated or certified to match the FFP rate of reimbursement. This revenue must be in the contractor’s budget and under the contractor’s control. These funds cannot be contributed by healthcare providers as local matching funds and subcontractor cannot certify local match funding. All local match funds must meet CPE requirements.
Local Matching Funds means general funds, securities, general revenue bonds, tax levies, mortgages and locally generated monies. Local matching funds do not include any pledges as defined in this Section; any funds from the State of Illinois or the federal government; any funds from collateralized pledges; or pending referendum to authorize funds for the construction project.
Local Matching Funds means funds of a unit of government contributed to an economic development project for the purpose of assisting in a total financing package and earning (or winning) other funds by doing so. Matching is usually expressed as a ratio, i.e. one local dollar for three state dollars, or one for three.

  • County’s contribution towards the Total Local Matching Funds (“County Participation”) equals the difference between the Total Local Matching Funds and the other available local matching funding sources, as identified in subsections 4(a) – 4(e) below (“Additional Local Matching Funds”).

  • If the amount of Additional Local Matching Funds decreases or State funding under the BBHC Agreement increases causing the Total Local Matching Funds to be less than the 75-to-25 State-to-local ratio, and Provider has, using good faith and diligence, exhausted all attempts to secure other Additional Local Matching Funds, County may increase County Participation to meet the 75-to-25 State-to-local ratio.

Local Matching Funds means funds received from governing bodies of local government, including city commissions, county commissions, district school boards, special tax districts, private hospital funds, private gifts, both individual and corporate, and bequests and funds received from community drives or any other sources.
