Local public library definition

Local public library. ’ means any library established pursuant to article 12 of chapter 12 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, K.S.A. 72-1033 and 72-1623 and amendments thereto, and any library which is operating pursuant to an interlocal agreement between a city, county or township and a school district pursuant to K.S.A. 12-2901 et seq., and amendments thereto, or K.S.A. 72-8230, and amendments thereto.
Local public library means an organization in New Mexico offering free library materials and basic public library services within its legal service area. The local public library has a library board and is managed by trained staff. A local public library is established either:
Local public library means a New Mexico organization that offers basic public library services within its legal service area and is open to the public at least fifteen (15) hours per week and a minimum of two (2) days each week.

  • Public library means a library that is lawfully established for free public purposes by 1 or more counties, cities, townships, villages, school districts, or other local governments or a combination thereof, or by a public or local act, the entire interests of which belong to the general public.   • Public land means land owned by the federal government, the state, or political subdivisions of the state and land acquired or developed for public recreation pursuant to section 321I.8.

  • Public liability means the Insured’s legal liability for Personal Injury or Property Damage happening during the Period of Insurance within the Territorial Limits as a result of an Occurrence happening in connection with the Business other than Products Liability.

  • Local public body means every political subdivision of the state and the agencies, instrumentalities and institutions thereof, including two-year post-secondary educational institutions, school districts and local school boards and municipalities, except as exempted pursuant to the Procurement Code.
