Local Water Utility definition

Local Water Utility means a non-profit water supply corporation, a general law or home-rule city, a special utility district, a municipal utility district or any other person
Local Water Utility means any entity with legal personality, in whichever form such legal personality may have been adopted, that is legally able to provide water and sewerage services to the general public within the territory of no more than one Participating Municipality;
Local Water Utility means a non-profit water supply corporation, a general law or home- rule city, a special utility district, a municipal utility district or as defined as a retail public utility under Section 13.002, Texas Water Code or 16 Tex. Admin. Code 24.3(31), which provides potable water service or sewer service or both, for compensation and whose defined service area, or a portion thereof, lies within the boundaries of the District.
