Low and Middle Income Countries definition

Low and Middle Income Countries or “LMICs” are those countries defined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Low and Middle Income Countries means the countries identified by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (or “OECD”) as having low-income or middle-income economies, as may be updated from time-to-time by the OECD.
Low and Middle Income Countries means the countries identified as such in Part 3 of Annex F.

  • Group I Country means Australia, The Netherlands, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

  • Eligible low-income customer means a customer whose household income does not exceed 150% of the poverty level, as published by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, or who receives any of the following:

  • Low-income customer means a utility customer whose household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and provides proof of meeting the eligibility requirement at the time of enrollment.

  • Clinical categories means the groups into which hospital treatments are categorised by type, e.g., brain and nervous system, kidney and bladder, and digestive system. At the time of writing there were 38 categories in the Medicare clinical categories system.

  • Program Income means gross in- come earned by the recipient that is di- rectly generated by a supported activ- ity or earned as a result of the award (see exclusions in § 215.24(e) and (h)). Program income includes, but is not limited to, income from fees for serv- ices performed, the use or rental of real or personal property acquired under federally-funded projects, the sale of commodities or items fabricated under an award, license fees and royalties on patents and copyrights, and interest on loans made with award funds. Interest earned on advances of Federal funds is not program income. Except as other- wise provided in Federal awarding agency regulations or the terms and conditions of the award, program in- come does not include the receipt of principal on loans, rebates, credits, dis- counts, etc., or interest earned on any of them.

  • Least developed country means any of the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Laos, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Samoa, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, or Zambia.

  • Moderate income housing means housing affordable,

  • Best available control technology (BACT means an emissions limitation (including a visible emission standard) based on the maximum degree of reduction for each pollutant subject to regulation under CAA which would be emitted from any proposed major stationary source or major modification which the Department, on a case-by-case basis, takes into account energy, environmental, and economic impacts and other costs, determines is achievable for such source or modification through application of production processes or available methods, systems, and techniques, including fuel cleaning or treatment or innovative fuel combustion techniques for control of such pollutant.
