Lubricating oils definition

Lubricating oils means petroleum based oils for reducing friction in engine parts and other mechanical parts.
Lubricating oils means engine lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids and gear oils, excluding marine and aviation oils.

  • Lubricant or “lube” means a solvent neutral paraffinic product used in commercial heavy duty engine oils, passenger car oils and specialty products for industrial applications such as heat transfer, metalworking, rubber and other general process oil.

Heating oil is typically used in the operation of heating equipment, boilers, or furnaces.
