Maximum Medical Recovery definition

Maximum Medical Recovery means an employee absent from work due to illness or injury (i.e. sick leave; LTD; and/or WSIB) reaches a plateau in their recovery and any further significant improvement in their medical impairment is unlikely.
Maximum Medical Recovery means the point at which further medical treatment or intervention will not, in the opinion of the WCB, result in a significant improvement in the worker's medical condition.
Maximum Medical Recovery means the point at which you have recovered to the fullest extent possible, with no further significant improvement expected despite ongoing medical treatment, which must be confirmed by a qualified doctor or relevant specialist.
