Except in those cases in which the federal Family and Medical leave Act (“FMLA”) authorizes the Board to delay a return to work from a Pregnancy Disability Leave until the beginning of the subsequent semester or school year, such a Leave shall expire when, in the opinion of her doctor, she is physically able to return to work.
Before departing on an unpaid Family and Medical leave of absence from Dartmouth, an employee should complete a Leave of Absence request form and a Leave of Absence Benefits form to advise the Benefits Office of which benefits, if any, to continue during the leave.
