Medical Services Plan definition

Medical Services Plan or "MSP" means the division of the Ministry of Health responsible for the administration and operation of the Medical Services Plan continued under the Medicare Protection Act;
Medical Services Plan means the Receiver’s Plan for the payment of the unpaid DCEH Medical Claims.
Medical Services Plan. (MSP) means, as defined in Section 1 of the MPA, “the Medical Services Plan continued under Section 3 [of the MPA];”

  • Such an employee, including one engaged in rehabilitation employment with the Employer, shall continue to be covered by the provisions of the Medical Services Plan, Extended Health Plan, Group Life Insurance and Dental Plan.

  • A dependent shall be as defined under the B.C. Medical Services Plan or as may be mutually agreed.

  • Eligible employees and dependents shall be covered by the British Columbia Medical Services Plan or carrier approved by the British Columbia Medical Services Commission.

  • Employees may elect to have their spouse and children covered under the B.C. Medical Services Plan unless the spouse is covered separately.

  • Upon the death of a regular employee who leaves a spouse and/or dependants enrolled in the Medical Services Plan, Dental Plan and Extended Health Benefit Plan, such enrolment may continue for twelve (12) months following the employee’s death, provided the enrolled family members pay the employee’s share of the cost of the premium for the plans.

  • All regular employees may choose to be covered by the Medical Services Plan.

  • Eligible employees and dependants shall be covered by the British Columbia Medical Services Plan or carrier approved by the British Columbia Medical Services Commission.

  • Benefit plans shall include coverage for dependents based on Medical Services Plan eligibility rules, if required by the employee.

  • Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be entitled to be covered under the Medical Services Plan commencing the first day of the calendar month following the date of employment.

  • It is understood that Extended Health Benefits shall be made available to employees who are covered under their spouse's B.C. Medical Services Plan or similar coverage, provided the employee is otherwise eligible.

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Medical service means any medical treatment or any medical, surgical, diagnostic, chiropractic, dental, hospital, nursing, ambulance, and other related services, and drugs, medicine, crutches and prosthetic appliances, braces and supports, and, where necessary, physical restorative services.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.
