Member Federation Country means the Country or Territory in which a Member Federation has authority, as stated in its constitution (as approved by World Athletics), to be the national governing body for the sport of Athletics.
Cooperating country national (“CCN”) means an individual who is a cooperating country citizen or a non-cooperating country citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the cooperating country.
Convention country means any country or territory in which the Convention is in force;
Indian country means (i) all land within the limits of any Indian reservation under the jurisdiction of the United States government, notwithstanding the issuance of any patent, and including rights-of-way running through the reservation; (ii) all dependent Indian communities with the borders of the United States whether within the originally or subsequently acquired territory thereof, and whether within or without the limits of a state; and (iii) all Indian allotments, the Indian titles to which have not been extinguished, including rights-of-way running through the same.
Native American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of North America and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part or who is recognized by a tribal organization.
Health planning region means a contiguous geographical area of the Commonwealth with a
parent financial holding company in a Member State means a financial holding company which is not itself a subsidiary of an institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State;
Federation means the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a political subdivision of the Borrower, and includes any successor or successors thereto;
third-country national means any person who is not a citizen of the Union within the meaning of Article 17(1) of the Treaty;
Member Country means the member of the Association in whose territory the Project is carried out or any such member’s political or administrative subdivisions.”
Major EU Country Major EU Country means France, Germany, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom.
traditional communities means communities recognised in terms of section 3 of the Eastern Cape Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, 2005 (Act No. 4 of 2005).
Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.
Cooperating country means the country in which the employing USAID Mission is located.
Confederation means a group of National Federations, recognized by AIBA and belonging to the same continent;
local planning authority in relation to an area means⎯
Metropolitan Region Scheme or “Scheme” has the meaning ascribed to that expression in the Scheme Act;
International Financial Institution means any bank in the top 1,000 (together with their affiliated companies) as measured by "Tier 1" capital or any broker/dealer in the top 100 as measured by capital.
Major European Country means any of France, Germany, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom.
Swiss Federal Tax Administration means the tax authorities referred to in article 34 of the Swiss Withholding Tax Act.
parent institution in a Member State means an institution in a Member State which has a institution or a financial institution as a subsidiary or which holds a participation in such an institution, and which is not itself a subsidiary of another institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State.
Treaty on European Union means the Treaty of Rome of March 25, 1957, as amended by the Single Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and the Maastricht Treaty (which was signed at Maastricht on February 1, 1992 and came into force on November 1, 1993), as amended from time to time.
Home Country means, with respect to an Insured Person, the country or territory as shown on the Insured Person’s passport or the country or territory of which the Insured Person is a permanent resident.
District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.
Major European Countries means France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Participating Country’ means any country that the Association determines meets the requirements set forth in Section 11 of Resolution No. 194 of the Board of Governors of the Association, adopted on April 8, 1999; and ‘Participating Countries’ means, collectively, all such countries."; and (b) The second sentence of Section 5.01 is modified to read: "Except as the Borrower and the Association shall otherwise agree, no withdrawals shall be made: (a) on account of expenditures in the territories of any country which is not a Participating Country or for goods produced in, or services supplied from, such territories; or (b) for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Association, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations." Section 1.02. Unless the context otherwise requires, the several terms defined in the General Conditions and in the Preamble to this Agreement have the respective meanings therein set forth and the following additional terms have the following meanings:
