Minority and Women Business Enterprise or "MWBE means: A business concern that is owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.

Minority and Women Business Enterprise or “MWBE” means either a

However, it does not mean a firm that has been found ineligible or which has been decertified by the City or Cook County.

  • Certified Minority Business Enterprise means a business which has been certified by the certifying organization or jurisdiction in accordance with s. 287.0943(1) and (2).
