Mobile Food Vending Unit definition

Mobile Food Vending Unit means a food service operation or retail food establishment that is operated from a food truck. For the purpose of a mobile food vending permit, "mobile food vending unit" excludes food delivery operations and vending machines, as defined in Ohio Revise Code 3717.01 (L).
Mobile Food Vending Unit means a readily movable food service establishment such as a push cart, van, trailer, or a temporary/movable structure approved for mobile food vending by Spokane regional health district. It provides space for limited storage, handling, and/or dispensing of foods. The entire operation must be contained within/on the mobile unit, except that expansion of the operation will be allowed in conjunction with an approved temporary event as allowed under the rules of the Spokane regional health district.

  • During the License Term, if Licensee operates a Mobile Food Unit without a valid DOHMH Vendor License and a DOHMH Mobile Food Vending Unit Permit, Licensee will be instructed to cease operations and will be subject to fines.

Mobile Food Vending Unit means any motorized or non-motorized vehicle, trailer, kiosk, push or pedaled cart, stand, display, carried container, blanket, ground covering or other device designed to be portable and not permanently attached to the ground from which food, beverages, goods, wares, or merchandise are being peddled, vended, sold, served, displayed, offered for sale or given away. Mobile vending unit does not include a mobile wholesale delivery unit, a vehicle which is used solely to transport or deliver food, or a common carrier regulated by the state or federal government. An ice cream vendor who is selling ice cream products from a vending vehicle shall be defined as a mobile food vendor.
