Multimodal transport bill of lading definition

Multimodal transport bill of lading means a document issued by a multimodal transport operator to the consignor as evidence of a multimodal transport contract with the essentials showing that the multimodal transport operator has taken in charge the goods specified in the multimodal transport bill of lading and that the multimodal transport operator undertakes to deliver the said goods to the consignee or the person entitled to receive them in accordance with Section 22.

  • Multimodal transport operator means the person on whose behalf the bill of lading/multimodal transport document, or any other document evidencing a contract of multimodal carriage of goods, is issued and who is responsible for the carriage of goods pursuant to the contract of carriage.

  • Bill of lading means a document of title evidencing the receipt of goods for shipment issued by a person engaged in the business of directly or indirectly transporting or forwarding goods. The term does not include a warehouse receipt.

  • Slug loading means any pollutant, including oxygen demanding pollutants, released in a discharge at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration as to cause interference in the POTW.

  • commercial air transport means an aircraft operation involving the transport of passengers, cargo, or mail for remuneration or hire.

  • Electricity Supply Code means the Electricity Supply Code specified under section 50;

  • InterMTA Traffic means traffic that, at the beginning of the call, originates on Telco’s network in one MTA and terminates on Carrier’s network in another MTA.

  • Contracting State means a State party to the Treaty;

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • international air transport means air transport that passes through the airspace over the territory of more than one State;

  • InterLATA Traffic describes Telecommunications between a point located in a Local Access and Transport Area ("LATA") and a point located outside such area.

  • Transit Traffic means traffic originating on CLEC’s network that is switched and transported by AT&T-TSP and delivered to a Third Party Terminating Carrier’s network or traffic from a Third Party Originating Carrier’s network. A call that is originated or terminated by a CLEC purchasing local switching pursuant to a commercial agreement with AT&T-TSP is not considered Transit Traffic for the purposes of this Attachment. Additionally Transit Traffic does not include traffic to/from IXCs.

  • International air transportation means transportation by air between a place in the United States and a place outside the United States or between two places both of which are outside the United States.

  • Displacement system means a device by which the seat or one of its parts can be displaced and/or rotated, without a fixed intermediate position, to permit easy access of occupants to the space behind the seat concerned;

  • air transport means the carriage by civil aircraft of passengers, baggage, cargo, and mail, separately or in combination, held out to the public for remuneration or hire, which, for the avoidance of doubt, shall include scheduled and non-scheduled (charter) air transport, and full cargo services;

  • Civil aircraft means any aircraft other than a public aircraft.

  • Civil Aeronautical Product means any civil aircraft, aircraft engine, or propeller or subassembly, appliance, material, part, or component to be installed thereon.

  • Local Access Transport Area or "LATA" is as defined in the Act.

  • Compacting state means any state which has enacted the enabling legislation for this compact.

  • INTER-CONNECTION POINT/ DELIVERY/ METERING POINT means a single point at 220kV or above, where the power from the Project(s) is injected into the identified ISTS Substation (including the dedicated transmission line connecting the Projects with the substation system) as specified in the RfS document. Metering shall be done at this interconnection point where the power is injected into. For interconnection with grid and metering, the WPDs shall abide by the relevant CERC/ SERC Regulations, Grid Code and Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006 as amended and revised from time to time.

  • Universal waste transporter means a person engaged in the off-site transportation of universal waste by air, rail, highway, or water.

  • Triage facility means a short-term facility or a portion
