Municipal and Industrial Use definition

Municipal and Industrial Use or "M&I Use," means domestic use; use of water for the supply of a city, town or similar population group, together with uses incidental thereto; use of water for the purposes of commerce, trade or industry; and if the use is in California, such other uses as are recognized by California law or, if the use is in Nevada, such other uses as are recognized by Nevada law; however, such uses in California do not include use of water for commercial, irrigated agriculture specified in Section 204(c)(1)(H) of the Settlement Act;

Municipal and Industrial Use means the use of contract water for municipal, industrial, andmiscellaneous other purposes, not falling under the definition of “irrigation” use above, or within another category of water use under an applicable Federal authority.

  • Agricultural use means the use of any pesticide or method or device for the control of pests in connection with the commercial production, storage or processing of any animal or plant crop. “Agricultural Use” does not include the sale or use of pesticides in properly labeled packages or containers which are intended for: (A) Home use, (B) Use in structural pest control, or (C) Industrial or Institutional use. For the purposes of this definition only:

  • Municipalities means every municipality as defined under the

  • Legal and Sustainable means production and process methods, also referred to as timber production standards, and in the context of social criteria, contract performance conditions (only), as defined by the document titled "UK Government timber procurement policy: Definition of Legal and Sustainable for timber procurement" (available from the Authority on request and from the CPET website).   • Significant Industrial User (SIU) means any industrial user that:
