Air gap separation means the unobstructed vertical distance through the free atmosphere between the lowest opening from any pipe or faucet supplying water to a tank, plumbing fixture, or other device and the flood level rim of the receptacle.
Source separation means the separation of different kinds of solid waste at the place where the waste originates.
Separation shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals.
Separation Plan means the Company’s Separation Plan Amended and Restated Effective August 13, 2006, as may be amended from time to time or any successor plan, program, arrangement or agreement thereto.
Master Separation Agreement has the meaning set forth in the recitals.
Separation Date has the meaning set forth in the Separation Agreement.
Marine terminal means a public or private commercial wharf
CIC means the Construction Industry Council.
Source Separated means the segregation, by the Generator, of materials designated for separate Collection for some form of Recycling, Composting, recovery, or reuse.
Hourly employee means an employee who is compensated on an hourly basis for each hour of work performed, including time worked beyond 40 hours in a workweek.
ITT has the meaning given to it in the recitals to this Framework Agreement;
New employee orientation means the onboarding process of a newly hired public employee, whether in person, online, or through other means or mediums, in which employees are advised of their employment status, rights, benefits, duties and responsibilities, or any other employment-related matters.
Living Wage Employee means any and all employees of the Contractor and all Subcontractors of the Contractor that perform any part of the Work on a property owned by or leased to the City, including all streets, sidewalks and other public rights of way, for at least one consecutive hour, but excluding Students, volunteers and employees of Social Enterprises;
Wireline means a cable containing one or more electrical conductors which is used to lower and raise logging tools in the well-bore.
EDSP means the Exchange Delivery Settlement Price and has the meaning attributed to it in Rule PPPP.5.
NEC Electronics as used in this statement means NEC Electronics Corporation and also includes its majority-owned subsidiaries.
Mass layoff means a reduction in force which:
Transfer Time means, in relation to any Subsequent Account Holder’s Entry, the time at which such Entry is credited to his Securities Account.
IOSCO means the International Organisation of Securities Commissions.
DMC means “Details Marks Certificate”
Comcast means Comcast Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation.
Secondment means temporary employment of staff by a beneficiary with the right for the staff to return to the previous employer;
SpinCo shall have the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.1.
EBS means Electronic Bid Submission.
Separation Time means the close of business on the earlier of (i) the tenth business day (or such later date as the Board of Directors of the Company may from time to time fix by resolution adopted prior to the Separation Time that would otherwise have occurred) after the date on which any Person commences a tender or exchange offer which, if consummated, would result in such Person's becoming an Acquiring Person and (ii) the Flip-in Date; provided, that if the foregoing results in the Separation Time being prior to the Record Time, the Separation Time shall be the Record Time and provided further, that if any tender or exchange offer referred to in clause (i) of this paragraph is cancelled, terminated or otherwise withdrawn prior to the Separation Time without the purchase of any shares of Common Stock pursuant thereto, such offer shall be deemed, for purposes of this paragraph, never to have been made.
