Net Plant Heat Rate definition

Net Plant Heat Rate means the Facility's heat rate in BTU/KW-hr as measured at the Facility's Electricity Metering Point, expressed as HHV, as determined and adjusted to Contract Conditions based on a performance test conducted in accordance with the testing procedures set forth in Appendix F. "Non-Defaulting Party" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.01.
Net Plant Heat Rate and "Net Plant Heat Rate Guarantee" have the meanings set forth in Section 5.04(b).

Examples of Net Plant Heat Rate in a sentence

  • Seller shall provide Department written notice of the date on which it plans to conduct a performance test to determine Net Plant Heat Rate at least fourteen (14) Days prior to such date.

  • If Seller's liability for failure to achieve the Guaranteed Maximum Heat Rate reaches $400,000 for two consecutive years, Seller shall, within six (6) months of such time, make such modifications as it deems appropriate to attempt to correct the Facility's heat rate deficiencies and run a performance test to demonstrate the impact of such modifications on Net Plant Heat Rate.

  • Seller shall pay Department liquidated damages in an amount equal to $450 for every BTU/KW-hr that the Net Plant Heat Rate exceeds the Guaranteed Maximum Heat Rate by more than one percent (1%).

  • On or about the Commercial Operation Date, the Seller performed a Performance Test in accordance with Appendix F to the Original Contract to determine the Rated Capacity as described in Section 2.02 (c) of this Agreement, and to determine the Net Plant Heat Rate as described in Section 4.02 (b) of this Agreement.

  • The Net Plant Heat Rate for the Facility shall be determined as of the Commercial Operation Date, and shall be re-determined annually thereafter within thirty (30) days before or after the anniversary of the Commercial Operation Date or such other date mutually agreeable to the Parties.

  • Upon the Facility Completion Date, the Seller shall perform a Performance Test in accordance with this Appendix F to determine the Rated Capacity as described in Section 2.02 (c) of this Agreement, and to determine the Net Plant Heat Rate as described in Section 4.02 (b) of this Agreement.

  • Seller guarantees the Net Plant Heat Rate for the Facility will not exceed 10,300 BTU/KW-hr (the "Guaranteed Maximum Heat Rate").

Related to Net Plant Heat Rate

  • Heat Rate means the quantity of BTU’s consumed to produce a kilowatt-hour of energy, calculated as follows:

  • Gross Station Heat Rate or ‘GHR’ means the heat energy input in kCal required to generate one kWh of electrical energy at generator terminals of a thermal generating station;

  • Infiltration rate means the rate of water entry into the soil expressed as a depth of water per unit of time (e.g., inches per hour).

  • Residual disinfectant concentration (“C” in CT cal- culations) means the concentration of disinfectant measured in mg/l in a representative sample of water.

  • Day-ahead System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Day- ahead Energy Market.

  • Measurement Point means the emission source for which continuous emission measurement systems (CEMS) are used for emission measurement, or the cross-section of a pipeline system for which the CO2 flow is determined using continuous measurement systems;

  • Operating parameter value means a minimum or maximum value established for a control device or process parameter that, if achieved by itself or in combination with one (1) or more other operating parameter values, determines that an owner or operator has complied with an applicable emission limit.

  • Sewage sludge weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, including admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Monitoring frequencies for sewage sludge parameters are based on the reported sludge weight generated in a calendar year (use the most recent calendar year data when the NPDES permit is up for renewal).

  • Calibration gas means a gas mixture used to calibrate gas analysers.

  • Meet Point A point, designated by the Parties, at which one Party’s responsibility for service begins and the other Party’s responsibility ends.

  • Deactivation Avoidable Cost Rate means the formula rate established pursuant to Tariff, Part V, section 115 of this Tariff.

  • Sewage treatment plant means any arrangement of devices and structures used for treating sewage.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Maximum Concentration Level Assessment means the Maximum Concentration Level Assessment for the purposes of a Basic Comprehensive Certificate of Approval, described in the Basic Comprehensive User Guide, prepared by a Toxicologist using currently available toxicological information, that demonstrates that the concentration at any Point of Impingement for a Compound of Concern that does not have a Ministry Point of Impingement Limit is not likely to cause an adverse effect as defined by the EPA. The concentration at Point of Impingement for a Compound of Concern must be calculated in accordance with O. Reg. 419/05.

  • Emission control system means the electronic engine management controller and any emission related component in the exhaust or evaporative system which supplies an input to or receives an output from this controller.

  • Seasonal high water table means the level below the natural surface of the ground to which water seasonally rises in the soil in most years.

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Weighted Average Adjusted Net Mortgage Rate For any Distribution Date and Loan Group, the average of the Adjusted Net Mortgage Rate of each Mortgage Loan in that Loan Group, weighted on the basis of its Stated Principal Balance as of the Due Date in the prior month (after giving effect to Principal Prepayments in the Prepayment Period related to such prior Due Date).

  • Vapor control system means a system that prevents release to the atmosphere of gasoline vapors in excess of 80 milligrams per liter of gasoline loaded (4.7 grains per liter).

  • medium voltage means the set of nominal voltage levels that lie above low voltage and below high voltage in the range of 1 kV < Un 44 kV. [SANS 1019]

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Replacement Reference Rate means a reference rate which is:

  • Day-ahead Congestion Price means the Congestion Price resulting from the Day-ahead Energy Market.

  • Daily Non-Cumulative Compounded RFR Rate means, in relation to any U.S. Government Securities Business Day during a Floating Rate Interest Period for a Loan (or any part of it), the percentage rate per annum determined by the Facility Agent in accordance with the methodology set out in Schedule 15B (Daily Non-Cumulative Compounded RFR Rate) or in any relevant Compounding Methodology Supplement.

  • Adjusted Net Mortgage Rate As to each Mortgage Loan and at any time, the per annum rate equal to the Mortgage Rate less the Expense Fee Rate.
