Network Business definition

Network Business means the part of an integrated provider’s business and functions which are responsible for the operation and maintenance of a covered network and the provision of covered services by means of the covered network.

More Definitions of Network Business

Network Business means the business of providing Program Services pursuant to the Affiliation Agreements. “New Restricted Subsidiary” means any Unrestricted Subsidiary designated as a Restricted Subsidiary pursuant to Section 7.08(b) or any New Subsidiary who is required to become a Guarantor or Restricted Subsidiary pursuant to Section 7.10. “New Subsidiary” means any Person which becomes a Subsidiary of the Company after the Effective Date. “New York Fed” means the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. “New York Fed Bank Rate” means, for any day, the greater of (a) the Federal Funds Effective Rate in effect on such day and (b) the Overnight Bank Funding Rate in effect on such day (or for any day that is not a Business Day, for the immediately preceding Business Day); provided that if both such rates are not so published for any day that is a Business Day, the term “New York Fed Bank Rate” means the rate quoted for such day for a federal funds transaction at 11:00 a.m. on such day received by the Administrative Agent from a Federal funds broker of recognized standing selected by it; provided, further, that if any of the aforesaid rates shall be less than zero, such rate shall be deemed to be zero for purposes of this Credit Agreement. “Non-Defaulting Lender” means, at any time, each Lender that is not a Defaulting Lender at such time. “Non-Extending Lender” has the meaning specified in Section 2.17(a). “Non-Financial Entity” has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(b). “Non-Required Consents” means the consent of any counterparty to a Contractual Obligation to the grant of a security interest in the agreement constituting the Contractual Obligation. “Note” means Term Loan Note, a Revolving Credit Note, an Incremental Term Loan Note, if any, or an Incremental Revolving Credit Note, if any, as the context may require. “Obligations” means all advances to, and debts, liabilities, obligations (but, with respect to any Guarantor at any time, excluding all Excluded Swap Obligations with respect to MSGN – A&R Credit Agreement (2019)
Network Business has the same meaning given to ‘network business’ in the Code. NMI, or National Market Identifier means the unique identifier assigned to the Connection Point.
Network Business means the Business which includes the revenues, costs and assets derived from or used in activities related to Interconnection taken together.
Network Business means that portion of Company's business that relates to providing network services to the Company's subscribers, which services Provider will perform pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Full Service Agreement.

  • Financial Services Business for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean the business of banking, including deposit, credit, trust and investment services, mortgage banking, asset management, and brokerage and investment banking services.

  • Alarm business means the business by any individual, partnership, corporation, or other entity of selling, leasing, maintaining, servicing, repairing, altering, replacing, moving or installing any alarm system or causing to be sold, leased, maintained, serviced, repaired, altered, replaced, moved or installed any alarm system in or on any building, structure or facility.

  • Telecommunications Business means the business of (i) transmitting, or providing services relating to the transmission of, voice, video or data through owned or leased transmission facilities, (ii) creating, developing or marketing communications related network equipment, software and other devices for use in a Telecommunications Business or (iii) evaluating, participating or pursuing any other activity or opportunity that is primarily related to those identified in (i) or (ii) above; provided that the determination of what constitutes a Telecommunications Business shall be made in good faith by the Board of Directors of the Guarantor.

  • Network Services means the equipment, software, and services necessary to transmit voice, data, or video.

  • Core Business means any material line of business conducted by the Company and its Subsidiaries as of the Closing Date and any business directly related thereto.

  • Business operations means engaging in commerce in any form, including by acquiring, developing, maintaining, owning, selling, possessing, leasing, or operating equipment, facilities, personnel, products, services, personal property, real property, or any other apparatus of business or commerce.

  • Networking means NSCC’s system that allows mutual funds and life insurance companies to exchange account level information electronically; and “Settling Bank” shall mean the entity appointed by the Trust or you, as applicable, to perform such settlement services on behalf of the Trust and you, as applicable, which entity agrees to abide by NSCC’s then current rules and procedures insofar as they relate to same day funds settlement. In all cases, processing and settlement of share transactions shall be done in a manner consistent with applicable law.

  • food business operator means the natural or legal persons responsible for ensuring that the requirements of food law are met within the food business under their control;

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Generation Business means the licensed business (if any) of the Licenseeand any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee in the generation of electricity or the provision of Ancillary Services;
