Nondomestic User Permit definition

Nondomestic User Permit means a permit issued to a Significant Industrial User, or to such other user as determined appropriate by the Authorized Local Unit Representative, as provided by this Article to control discharges to the POTW and to ensure compliance with applicable pretreatment standards and requirements.
Nondomestic User Permit means a permit issued to a Significant Industrial User, or to such other User as determined appropriate by the POTW Superintendent, as provided by this Ordinance to control the discharge of wastewater to the POTW and to ensure compliance with applicable pretreatment standards and requirements.

  • It is unlawful and prohibited for any Significant Industrial User (SIU), or any other User as determined necessary by the POTW Superintendent to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance, to discharge to the POTW without a Nondomestic User Permit as provided by this Article.

Domestic septage does not include liquid or solid material removed from a septic tank, cesspool, or similar treatment works that receives either commercial wastewater or industrial wastewater and does not include grease removed from grease trap at a restaurant.
