Domestic abuse definition

Domestic abuse means the following, if committed against a family or household member by a family or household member:
Domestic abuse means a pattern of abusive and controlling behavior that may include physical violence; coercion; threats; intimidation; isolation; or emotional, sexual, or economic abuse.
Domestic abuse means committing assault as defined in section 708.1 under any of the following circumstances:

Domestic abuse means any of the following engaged in by an adult person against his or her spouse or former spouse, against an adult with whom the person resides or formerly resided or against an adult with whom the person has a child in common:
Domestic abuse means any act of physical harm, or the threat of imminent physical harm which is committed by an adult, emancipated minor, or minor child thirteen (13) years of age or older against another adult, emancipated minor or minor child who are family or household members or who are or were in a dating relationship;
Domestic abuse means any of the following engaged in by an adult family member or adult household member against another adult family member or adult household member, by an adult caregiver against an adult who is under the caregiver's care, by an adult against his or her adult former spouse, by an adult against an adult with whom the individual has or had a dating relationship, or by an adult against an adult with whom the person has a child in common:
Domestic abuse means abuse where the victim of it is or has been associated with the abuser;
Domestic abuse means the same as defined in Iowa Code section 236.2. “Domestic abuse assault” means the same as defined in Iowa Code section 708.2A. “Eligible person” means a person who is all of the following:
