Nonmetallic Mining Operations definition

Nonmetallic Mining Operations means any or all of the activities, processes, methods of approach, applications and means utilized, both mechanically and otherwise, including but not limited to blasting, grading, crushing, screening and scalping to cause the occurrence of one or more of the following:
Nonmetallic Mining Operations means any or all of the activities, processes, methods of approach, applications and means utilized, both mechanically and otherwise, including but not limited to blasting, grading, crushing, screening and scalping to cause the occurrence of one or more of the following: (a) Extraction or excavation from the earth of nonmetallic minerals for off- site use or sale; (b) Manufacturing or processing operations that may involve the use of equipment for the washing, drying and loading of or the crushing, screening, separating or blending of or other related processing of nonmetallic minerals obtained in the extraction process from the earth or using nonmetallic materials or other materials transferred to the site at which the operations are taking place; (c) Manufacturing processes whose aim or goal is the production of nonmetallic products for sale or use by the Operator; (d) Stockpiling of nonmetallic minerals for sale or use off-site and stockpiling of waste materials; (e) Disposal of waste materials; and (f) Reclamation of a Mine Site.
Nonmetallic Mining Operations means any or all of the following:

Examples of Nonmetallic Mining Operations in a sentence

  • Great Northern will, if requested to do so by the Town, provide the Town with an annual report and presentation at a scheduled Town board meeting, which shall report as to a summary of its Nonmetallic Mining Operations in the Town in the prior year and plans for the upcoming year.

  • Stats., and at Common Law, the Town Board makes this statement of purpose that the regulation of the manner in which Nonmetallic Mining Operations in the Town are conducted is in the health, general welfare, and safety interests of the residents and property owners in the Town.

  • Great Northern shall use best management practices to keep noise from its Nonmetallic Mining Operations at or below 80 dB at the Mine Site boundaries; provided that such limits shall not apply to blasting activities, haul trucks entering or leaving the Mine Site, site preparation work, construction of site improvements, repairs, or work pursuant to the Reclamation Plan.

  • The Initial Term of this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until the earlier of: (a) the date Great Northern has notified the Town that it has completed all Nonmetallic Mining Operations in the Town; or (b) twenty five (25) years after the Effective Date.

  • This Agreement applies to all of Great Northern ‘s Nonmetallic Mining Operations in the Town.

  • Great Northern’s Nonmetallic Mining Operations shall not be subject to any provision of the Ordinance which is inconsistent with any term of this Agreement or which materially adds to Great Northern’s obligations or restrictions respecting its Nonmetallic Mining Operations.

  • Great Northern’s Nonmetallic Mining Operations shall be subject to the restrictions set forth in this Article.

  • Water generated by or contaminated with sediment as a result of frac sand operations is handled primarily with two general WPDES permits: the Nonmetallic Mining Operations Permit (NMM) (Permit No. WI-0046515-05) and the Construction Site Storm water Discharge Permit (Permit No. WI-S067831-3).

  • Great Northern’s Nonmetallic Mining Operations may be conducted on a 24 hours per day, 7 day per week basis (restrictions as to trucking activities, including days and hours of operation, are addressed in Article 6 of this Agreement).

  • The Initial Term of this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until the earlier of: (a) the date Sioux Creek Silica, LLC., has notified the Town that it has completed all Nonmetallic Mining Operations in the Town; or (b) twenty five (25) years after the Effective Date of this Operations Agreement.

Related to Nonmetallic Mining Operations

  • Mining Operations means obtaining or extracting any mineral by any mode or method or any purpose directly or indirectly connected therewith or incidental thereto, including—

  • Mining operation means any operations undertaken for the purpose of winning any mineral as defined in section 3 (d) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

  • Business operations means engaging in commerce in any form, including by acquiring, developing, maintaining, owning, selling, possessing, leasing, or operating equipment, facilities, personnel, products, services, personal property, real property, or any other apparatus of business or commerce.

  • Farming operation means raising, cultivating, propagating, fattening, grazing, or any other farming, livestock, or aquacultural operation.

  • Active business operations means all business operations that are not inactive business operations.

  • AREA OF OPERATIONS means the Company's oilfield operations in the States of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

  • Production Operations means all operations conducted for the purpose of producing Petroleum from the Development Area after the commencement of production from the Development Area including the operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities therefor.

  • Inactive business operations means the mere continued holding or renewal of rights to property previously operated for the purpose of generating revenues but not presently deployed for such purpose.

  • mining area means all those pieces of land containing two hundred and forty‑six (246) square miles or thereabouts situate in what is known to the parties as the “Xxx Xxxxx‑Siberia Nickel Laterite Area” the subject of the mineral claims applications for mineral claims and Temporary Reserves listed in the First Schedule hereto which are generally delineated and respectively coloured green and orange and red in the plan marked “X” signed by or on behalf of the parties for the purpose of identification;

  • Diatomaceous earth filtration means a process resulting in substantial particulate removal in which (1) a precoat cake of diatomaceous earth filter media is deposited on a support membrane (septum), and (2) while the water is filtered by passing through the cake on the septum, additional filter media known as body feed is continuously added to the feed water to maintain the permeability of the filter cake.

  • Petroleum Operations means, as the context may require, Exploration Operations, Development Operations or Production Operations or any combination of two or more of such operations, including construction, operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities, plugging and abandonment of Xxxxx, safety, environmental protection, transportation, storage, sale or disposition of Petroleum to the Delivery Point, Site Restoration and any or all other incidental operations or activities as may be necessary.

  • mining areas means the areas delineated and coloured red on the Plan marked “A” initialled by or on behalf of the parties hereto for the purposes of identification;

  • CBM means Capacity Benefit Margin.

  • Exploration Operations means any operations carried out for or in connection with the exploration for minerals, and includes -

  • Quarry means a pit, excavation, or other place made by any means for the purpose of removing Construction Materials or a site identified for such purposes, and includes works, machinery, plants, and buildings below or above ground belonging to or used in connection with a Quarry.

  • Exploration means all activities directed toward ascertaining the existence, location, quantity, quality or commercial value of deposits of Products.

  • Branch operations means any business operations of a branch captive insurance company in this State.

  • Mining means the mining, extracting, producing, handling, milling or other processing of Products.

  • Plant means the machinery and apparatus intended to form or forming part of the Works.

  • Mine means to carry on an operation with a view to, or for the purpose of—

  • Total tetrahydrocannabinol means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • Refinery means a facility used to produce motor fuel from crude oil, unfinished oils, natural gas liquids, or other hydrocarbons and from which motor fuel may be removed by pipeline, by marine vessel, or at a rack.

  • Cannabis plant means any plant of the genus Cannabis;

  • operational area means a work unit providing a distinct service that may include one of the following areas: domestic services, food services, laundry/linen services and the work of aides and orderlies and similar operational work

  • Area of operation means an area coextensive with the territorial boundaries of the land acquired or

  • Cannabis business means any business activity involving cannabis, including but not limited to cultivating, transporting, distributing, manufacturing, compounding, converting, processing, preparing, storing, packaging, delivering, testing, dispensing, retailing and wholesaling of cannabis, of cannabis products or of ancillary products and accessories, whether or not carried on for gain or profit.
