Nutraceutical Products definition

Nutraceutical Products means any Dietary Supplement or Functional Food that has proven health and medical benefits. “Dietary Supplement” means a product isolated or purified from foods that is generally sold in medicinal forms not usually associated with food; a dietary supplement is demonstrated to have a physiological benefit to maintain healthy physiological systems. “Functional Food” is similar in appearance to, or may be, conventional food, is consumed as part of a usual diet, and is demonstrated to have physiological benefits to maintain healthy physiological systems beyond basic nutritional functions.
Nutraceutical Products means all products of the “food” type, that is to say, made from food substances, made available in the form of a tablet, powder, potion or in other medicinal forms, usually not associated with foods, having a physiologically protective effect against the chronic diseases of the SCOPE, the manufacture, holding or marketing of which involves the implementation of at least one claim of any of the PATENTS.

  • Developing, acquiring and marketing Dietary Supplements, Cosmeceutical Products, Nutraceutical Products, Medical Foods and Pharmaceuticals in the Field.

  • Additionally, Oxis shall not be prohibited from developing and marketing any Dietary Supplements, Cosmeceutical Products, Nutraceutical Products or Medical Foods containing Ergo that are not designed to treat or prevent ARDS.

  • The parties agree that this covenant does nor preclude all employment with companies that compete with some aspect of VL's business, but that it does prohibit Contractor from working for a competitor on development of marketing materials, content and other marketing or advertising for Nutraceutical Products for the time period specified.

  • Nutraceutical Products: Natural, bioactive chemical compounds that have health promoting, disease preventing or medicinal properties.

  • Following the successful completion of the Stage 2 animal studies, Oxis and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will make a joint decision whether or not to commence human clinical trials (in the case of Pharmaceuticals) and/or testing and distribution for human use (in the case of Dietary Supplements, Cosmeceutical Products, Nutraceutical Products and Medical Foods).
