Nutritional Supplements definition

Nutritional Supplements means commercially prepared products, the primary purpose of which is to treat a diagnosed deficiency or potential deficiency in the patient’s diet or nutrition.
Nutritional Supplements under the Cystic Fibrosis Program means supplemental puddings, supplemental bars, liquid oral supplements, supplemental shakes and powders;
Nutritional Supplements means vitamins, minerals, herbs and other nutritional supplements, including, without limitation, products within the categories of sports nutrition, aroma-therapy, personal care, liquid herbs, flower essence, essential oils and other products typically found in health food stores, but excluding OTC products.

More Definitions of Nutritional Supplements

Nutritional Supplements means any food product, and any dietary supplement or food supplement product intended to supplement the human diet, that is not adulterated and is not a Human Prescription Medicine or an Over-the-Counter Medicine or a medical device or otherwise subject to regulatory efficacy approval by the FDA or another similar national regulatory authority of a jurisdiction in the Territory. For clarity, the term Nutritional Supplement includes all products and uses regulated under the United States Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 and 21 C.F.R. 111.
Nutritional Supplements means nonlegend drug nutritional supplements covered under this waiver which are deemed by a physician to be necessary as the primary source of nutrition for the AIDS/ARC recipient’s individual's health care plan (due to the prevalence of conditions of wasting, malnutrition and dehydration) and not available through any other food program.
Nutritional Supplements means enteral feeding which is medically indicated as either the sole source of nutrition or a supplement that enhances the physical well-being of the participant.
Nutritional Supplements means, in the context of COMAR 10.09.69, enteral feeding which is either the sole source of nutrition or a supplement which enhances the physical well- being of the patient and is medically indicated.
