Observation Dates definition

Observation Dates means each date specified as such in the applicable Issue Terms provided that, if such date is not a Scheduled Trading Day, the Observation Date shall be the immediately succeeding Scheduled Trading Day unless, in the opinion of the Calculation Agent, such day is a Disrupted Day. If such day is a Disrupted Day, then:

Examples of Observation Dates in a sentence

• On the first and second Observation Dates, no Autocall Redemption Event would occur because the Closing Level at each such Observation Date is below the Autocall Redemption Level.

• In this example, there is a Digital Payout Event on 10 of the 20 Observation Dates.

• On the first and second Observation Dates, no Autocall Redemption Event would occur because the Portfolio Value at each such Observation Date is below the Autocall Redemption Value.

• On the first through sixth Observation Dates, no Autocall Redemption Event would occur because the Closing Level at each such Observation Date is below the Autocall Redemption Level.

• On the other 7 Observation Dates, no Digital Payout Event would occur because the Portfolio Value is below the Coupon Barrier Value.

Observation Dates means each date specified in the applicable Final Terms provided that, if such date is not a Scheduled Trading Day, the Observation Date shall be the immediately succeeding Scheduled Trading Day. If such day is a Disrupted Day, then:

Observation Dates means the 12th calendar day of each month from 12th June 2015 to 12th Feb 2016 and 9th March 2016 (10 observations in total).PROVIDED THAT if the date on which the observation is to be made hereunder is not a trading day for the Underlying Index, the Observation Date will be the next following trading day unless such a day should fall in the next calendar month, in which case it will be the first preceding day that is a trading day for the index;
