Orthodontic Technician definition

Orthodontic Technician means a Dental Technician (as defined) who, after having satisfied all the requirements at each level, would be able to perform simple Upper Removable Appliance (“URA”) construction; (i) Level 1 - At this level, an Orthodontic Technician will also be required to successfully complete simple fixed appliance construction. (ii) Level 2 - At this level, an Orthodontic Technician would be required to successfully complete complex removable appliance construction. (iii) Level 3 - At this level, an Orthodontic Technician would be required to successfully complete functional appliance construction. (iv) Level 4 - At this level, an Orthodontic Technician would be competent in completing all the above duties with minimal supervision.
